Contact support

So I can’t change anything on my account, literally nothing. It all says to contact support. I can’t even download the PTR.

I contacted support, at what point do you guys fix this?

Tried on phone, tried multiple browsers, and tried different computers before someone suggests that. My account is fubar’d on Blizzard’s end.

Do you have a ticket number?

I’m not sure what is happening, as I’m not an employee, and this is not a direct contact to customer service, a moderator might be able to offer some information, but no guarantee.

I do, I posted here because they haven’t bothered to do anything on the ticket let alone respond. Kind of annoyed, also why isn’t this tied to support? The forum literally says customer support contact support… Thats a bit silly if this has nothing to do with WOW support and getting a hold of the customer service team.

The forums isn’t a means to bypass the ticketing system. The blues here ain’t GMs and isn’t a mean to get a hold of someone from the ticketing system.

Our CS is through tickets, Lemondrop. This forum is primarily a customer to customer forum - and our regulars are exceedingly knowledgeable on a range of topics.

Has your ticket not been answered yet? Have you tried Live Chat?

It’s spelled out in the third sticky thread, but the forum is meant for players to discuss the game, but not a bypass to the normal ticket system. It’s more moderated, but not by GM staff.

Do you happened to have a ticket number that the blue can look at?

It isn’t open quite yet. Usually opens about 2 Central time.

Once open, you’ll see a second icon, next to the one for tickets.

Ya, I see that, only live support has a slash through it so much for that lol.

Guess my account will forever be locked if I want to change anything at all with “contact support” which as of now doesn’t exist weeeeeee. I did get a reply linking me to a help article in the support database… which has nothing to do with my problem so they didn’t even bother to read the ticket.

Now the support site just loads slow and gives a 502 proxy error instead lol.

Bnet as a whole is taking a nap currently. I’m sure Blizzard staff are already working on it.

Just to confirm, yes, our teams have been working on the issue. It looks like we’re seeing normal traffic again, but it may take a bit for everything to return to normal.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation.

So does live support just not open some days? Was greyed out all day today even when the servers weren’t screwed up.

Going to leave my ticket number here maybe someone will see it and actually read and not give me a canned response like the GM that responded to my ticket with an article link when I specifically stated nothing on my account page works it all says “contact support”.

Response I got… which closed the ticket:

This is your friendly neighborhood Game Master xxxxxx. We would be happy to help update your account information if you can reach out over a live channel. (Which seems to have not been active even during its open hours)

Our webchat is available through the support site on weekdays from 2pm to 5pm central time.

There are no GMs or Devs on this forum. While our SFAs like Vrak are pretty dang awesome, they have absolutely nothing to do with resolving tickets.

At the end of any templated response, there is a button to the tune of “I still need help.” Hitting that will send the ticket into a bit of a higher queue for a GM to look it over. Templated responses are pretty normal, it helps to weed out the people who CAN be helped by the information it provides. Do not open a new ticket, just reopen the original so that it’s not starting from scratch each time, if that makes sense?

As for live chat, it could be that other people filled it’s queue and it became unavailable until they got those customers taken care of. It also may have been that it didn’t open today for some reason.
