I’m in the US; why does clicking on “Contact Support” take me to Blizzard’s EU website?
Just to clarify, where do you hit the contact support button?
Is it in game, via the app launcher, or on this website?
On this website. I click on ‘Support’ (above my icon), it goes to //us.battle.net/support/en/, I click on ‘Contact Support’ and it goes to //us.battle.net/support/en/help, I click on the ‘Account, App, & Shop’ icon, it goes to //us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/services, I fill out the block describing the problem and then click ‘Continue’ and it goes to //eu.battle.net/[whatever).
I’m trying to find out why my account is showing ‘Inactive’ when my credit card was billed but the status is ‘pending.’ You submit on a weekend, the credit card account doesn’t process right away. You’ve billed on weekends before, and the transaction didn’t process until Monday, but you didn’t shut off my account. Since tomorrow is a holiday here in the US, it probably won’t completely process until Tuesday. And my credit card account isn’t even showing a submission by Billing.
So, because you submitted on a weekend my account is going to be locked for 48 hours? Check how long that account has been around and how many times it’s been locked for non-payment; it’ll give Billing a clue as to customer longevity and reliability.
Try going to world of warcraft instead, Use the “I would rather categorize the issue”, click on payment, and purchase failure. This should get you where you can contact billing, and when open, live chat or phone callback.
