His point is, why draw the line at consumables when there’s a bunch of other variances in non-rated play from team to team? What makes consumables different from the others?

Yup, I stay subbed to queue premades in epic BGs. I have a blast doing so. We all use saltwater potions and just crush the enemy in link 5 seconds lol.
