Constant latency after patch 9.2.5

I am experiencing constantly high latency (at least 400ms world) which is exclusive to World of Warcraft, and seems especially bad in Arena.

This is not occurring for any other application, and several speedtests put my connection around 30-40ms. I have also already taken the steps in the WoW support article for connection issues.

Please advise when precisely this issue will be resolved. Thanks in advance for swift assistance.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

This was during a Solo Shuffle, but my latency so far has actually been consistently worse than it was during this test.

Posts with no diagnostic information are not likely to get help.

Run the winmtr as described in the blue posts at the top of the forum and post the results.

There is now nothing standing in the way of immediate rectification of this issue. I cannot wait to witness it.

Between the router and the first hop is a 625 ms lag spike that persists throughout the test.

Similarly, there are more packets making it further through the test than through the first hops. The first hop shows 445 packets sent, but the second shows 457, and later as many as 461 packets.

Whatever this is starts with your network and ISP.

Wired or wireless?
Have you power cycled the network gear?

The immediate rectification appears to be v for you to contact Rogers about your service.

Wired. Yes I have power cycled.

I find this strange because I am experiencing no such packet loss or latency with other applications, as I already mentioned (this also includes streaming video). This issue only occurs while playing WoW.

Even other online games are not giving me this kind of latency.

Please read the blue posts at the top to understand why that is not relevant.

Edited for correct link.

I am not from those areas, nor am I with those ISPs. I’m EST.

How exactly is it not relevant? If it’s my ISP then why are other online games not experiencing similar issues?

Simply because those other games are not located in the same places that Blizzard’s servers are. Therefore, they take different routes to get to those games than they do to get to Blizzard games.
