Got a new GPU Friday. 1070ti to 6750xt. Fresh install of Windows and WoW, updated bios and all drivers.
Getting intermittent Error 132, always ACCESS_VIOLATION, some sort of memory error.
Tried going back to old GPU, still errors. Tried resetting bios and changing settings (XMP off, SAM off etc), still errors. Flashed back to the old BIOS version, still errors. Changed to a new RAM set, still errors.
I’m at a loss for what to do to try to fix this. I have tried correcting everything that has changed, but am still encountering these errors.
I will attach the most recent error on this topic.

With 32GB of RAM, it’s hard to imagine virtual memory being needed. But, it’s probably a good idea to have it there, just in case. I don’t believe this would be a hardware issue, given what’s been done. Maybe that’s just reflecting how much virtual memory is actually being used, and isn’t saying that there’s no virtual memory allocated
To enable virtual memory in Windows 11:
Right-click Start
Click System
Underneath the Device Specifications section, click on Advanced System Settings
Mine defaults to the Advanced tab. If you’re not on that tab, click to it
Click the Settings button in the Performance section
Click the Advanced tab
In the Virtual Memory section, click the Change button
On my system, it has the Automatically Manage Paging File Size for All Drives checked at the top. That would be my recommendation
Look under Total Paging File Size for All Drives - those numbers should be non-zero (may not take effect until after reboot)
Click OK on everything that’s open
Reboot
Go back in and make sure those numbers in step 9 are non-zero. If they are zeroes, then you’ll need to manually set them to something. I’d say 5-6GB of virtual memory should be plenty.
If you look at the report their system has VM enabled, the game isn’t using any.
From what I can tell (been a while since I had an AMD card) they may need to go into Radeon settings and turn off the in game overlay given what looks to be having trouble.
These error reports are not what we use for troubleshooting in this forum. They contain hash codes only the staff can decipher. I recommend adding a DxDiag here and opening a ticket with the staff (which will require the collection of two system files).
The bios is 2 releases behind. The latest agesa update addresses stuttering based on the tpm access.
That new dxdiag is showing 144 kernel works, which tend to be graphics drivers issues. Even on a fresh windows install, a clean install using ddu would be in order.
I have uninstalled / reinstalled graphics drivers using DDU each time. This error is happening both with the new card (6750XT), and the known working old card (1070ti)
I updated the BIOS just before I started having this issue. I had the latest version, but rolled back to this version because it was a known working version.
I have decided to remedy this issue by purchasing an entirely new system, a platform change on both ends. Intel CPU, Motherboard, RAM and a 3070ti en route. Should be assembled Thursday evening, will report back.
