Having issue’s with WoW over the past couple days as far as the connection issues / DDOS goes. The DC’s remove and delete all my healing macros now. How can i prevent that!?
When you are finished creating your macros, log out of the game and exit the client . That should save the macros to your local harddrive.

I’d agree, they should save when you log out. Though be sure you are running the program as the administrator.

Generally macros are saved server-side. If you create them and they are not being saved, it sounds like you are not syncing to the server before you disconnect. As such, after you create your macros, you may want to change zones then log out, rather than wait for a disconnect. Both of these actions should force a “character save” on the server.
If you continue to have issues you may want to inquire on the UI & Macros forum. There used to be commands to change where macros are saved, either server or local computer, but I have been out of things too long to remember

I had no idea, as I’d create them then get dc’d. I did a correct log out as I normally do to hard save them, and it seems they are here for good now. Thank you.

/reload will save macros as well.
