How about changing it so there’s only a daily lockout on raids? That way, if you don’t clear the entire raid every day, you’re going to be way behind people who do.
See, we can both play this game! I AM NOT KRUMTOILET!!!

No because then people would cry that they get to do too much content. I AM KRUMTOILET!!!
Terrible decision. When you wonder why sub count continues to drop I hope you say “Hey I wonder if it had anything to do with taking away content and making it bi-weekly”.
I agree but no one is going to admit they might have a mental illness or even some form of anxiety. They become avoidant and blame others and then you have Blizz who now enables this by scapegoating others. Oh well. Lets hope they don’t have this same mindset with D4.
why? why not a daily hub? why not daily world quests? ANYTHING ELSE? but WHY NOT THOSE? WHY DOES THAT BOTHER YOU SO MUCH
i know the answer
BECASE THATS WHAT WE’RE ASKING FOR AND YOURE A TROLL WHO GETS OFF ON TELLING OTHERS THEY CANT DO WHAT THEY WANNA DO
But they very literally did not take anything away. WQ’s have had a 3.5-7 day duration since beta, where most of the feedback was positive. So they didn’t take anything away. They just didn’t add more.
Doesn’t seem that way. Blizzard catered to the m+ raider whiners that complain if anyone else is allowed to have nice things. That’s pretty par for the course, isn’t it?
It is the definition of “literally” taking something away. There was daily world quest content. Now there is not daily world quest content.
It is not M+ whiners. They want this because it helps you get your item level higher through renown rewards. It is people like Humanbeak who are “crafter” mains with 12 alts and feel they have too much to do.
Really?
Weird
That’s my profile. I wouldn’t complain about this in the least bit having more options is great. If I get ALL my crafters going that’s a time sink on me but that’s what I would expect.
Yes, you are not as selfish as him. It’s really that simple.
True.
Not true. I can decide that being competitive with my crafting and making tons of gold is not what I’m playing the game for. But if I decide that is what I’m playing the game for, then the pressure is very real, because I am competing against other people who will be doing that content.
This is like saying “the pressure people feel to improve their M+ score is entirely self-induced.” It is, from the point of view that no one is forcing you to do M+. But if you do want to do M+, improving your score will have a tangible, meaningful effect on your gameplay experience that is enforced, if not by the game itself, then at least by the other players you will be working with and competing against in order to do that content.
How can you say it is not true when, in the very next sentence, you say “I decide…” By defintion, you have decided to be a competitive crafter. Therefore, any pressure you feel to be competitive in that regard is your decision.
No, there wasn’t. They said they were going to change it, then they didn’t change it. Therefore, nothing changed. If nothing changed, then nothing was taken away.
This is satire, right?
Because I want Blizzard to come up with creative gameplay elements that is not daily quests?
I have faith in Blizzard to be more creative than that. It has nothing to do with you.
The pressure to be competitive is a choice. The standards by which you will be judged once you make that choice, are not. I can choose not to be a competitive crafter. But if I want to compete as a crafter, I will have to do everything I can to maximize my rep, or give up being a competitive crafter. Because I am competing against others who will be doing those things.
Yes, but you choose to hold yourself to those standards by making the choice to be competitive. How are you not understanding that? If you don’t want to do everything to maximize your rep, then don’t be a competitive crafter. It’s not really that complicated, but you are undergoing these bizarre mental gymnastics.
No. It’s the truth. A change was proposed, then they changed their minds before it was made. You can say they went back on their word if you want, but you can’t say they took something away from you. If I promise you a million dollars and then don’t give it to you, that is not at all the same as taking a million dollars away from you.
Completely false equivocation. Again, mental gymnastics.
