Considering Some Semi-weekly World Quests Becoming Daily

No? Three days and better rewards is much better system.

Then you just incite the people who use world quests as their gear. Blizz should stick to their initial plans either way. They had a vision, they should stick to it.

This can be done without making them dailies. Tripling the number of WQs would be A-OK with me and then those of you who want to do “dailies” can just divide them up into thirds.

enjoy falling behind in professions as your competitors eat your lunch.

What I said was in response to you having an issue with “competitors” outpacing you. So yes, it does make sense because for some reason you are concerned with the progress of others, which is just petty.

It means I can logon any of those 3 days and do the quests. It means I can not have to worry about logging on every single day . Is that so hard to comprehend?

What’s so hard for you to comprehend the fact that you can still do that WITHOUT restricting others to a 3-day wait time? You have yet to articulate any argument that suggests the restriction is necessary or how it helps you, considering the dailies are available to you every day you choose to play.

I don’t see why Blizz just doesn’t keep the 3.5-day rotation and triple the number of WQs. People who want to do WQs “daily” can pick 1/3 of them to do in a day and repeat x2.

Because then that leaving nothing to do for the other 5 days of the week that people DO play. There are vastly more daily players than you realize. Your argument is literally boiling down to the fact you don’t want to dedicate time to the game but you deserve the same amount of progression as everyone else, which is the same mentality that has killed the player base over the years.

You were complaining about professions!

YOUR COMPLAINT WAS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE MAKING MONEY!

YES I AM GOING TO COMPARE IT TO A DAMN JOB!

Jesus Christ will you people stop being so damn disingenuous all the time! We are trying to discuss this to make the game better, not trap each other in some imbecilic one-upsmanship contest! You are a big boy, you know what metaphor and abstraction is!

which will be completely void come next week when M+ and the first wing of the Raid opens.

Thanks for providing the comedic relief I needed.

But it can hurt player retention because it reduces the activities for daily players. Theres the high probability they have what they need from normal/heroic dungeons (maybe even mythic), or their mythic dungeons are locked out for the majority of the week. And with everything being tied to rep, and often still far out of reach, many other things such as professions cannot be done either.

Thank you providing the response that significantly highlights why no one is taking you or any argument you provide seriously.

Theres no AP why are you doing every wq every day mm. If your don’t see a good reward then don’t do the WQ. If you don’t see any rep awards you like, then don’t do those WQ

Yeah, nobody takes my arguments seriously, which is why my argument has 67% more likes than Blizzard’s initial announcement. Good one.

In a video game, not a job.

Not really, but still, in a video game, not a job.

That’s a you problem. Sorry.

Professions can be done right now. You don’t need max rep or knowledge to make major gold in it.

Right now, I am at war with people over shovels. I was selling them for 500 a pop. It was nice profit, now with undercutters it down 200. I’m focus on getting knowledge and ready for the next big thing once more people get up and start getting sparks.

The point I am making is. The demand on the AH right now for our supplies have never been higher.

Fishing of all things is making people money with darkmoon fair cards.

It might not be content these people want to do, but you have tons of open world content that is not quests.

That’s what’s known as appeal to popularity, and isn’t considered a logical argument.

Besides, statistically speaking, being the 3rd comment of a 2020 comment thread is naturally going to generate a higher level of likes. Further more, you shouldn’t consider the fact that with 2020 comments, that means only 10%-20% of people actually agree with you (with same-character responses considered), which makes your opinion a minority.

That’s another very good point.

I didn’t know you were trying to put one forth with all the baseless assumptions you’ve been throwing out there

plurality. Good work.

Yes, they can be done, but they cannot be continued. Majority, if not everyone, has hit a massive block based on a rep wall, which is fine, but the issue is the ability to progress that rep, with this change, has significantly impacted that.

Shovels? But they are only 15 resources a pop, why are people buying them? lol. And lucky, as much dirt as i was finding (Until the nerf changed it to me not finding a single thing), i hadn’t found a single knowledge.

But these things you are suggestions are economical ventures, not in-game progress, which is what most people are interested in.

Maybe they could add a choice of 2 or 3 rewards to choose from. Maybe a weapon, armor, material upgrade etc. That way they may avoid 4 world quests giving the same thing…

baseless assumptions

Literally the base is everything you said, which was quoted.

plurality. Good work.

Your the one that wanted to stroke yourself for having more likes than the OP.

I know I already suggested “keep the 3 day rotation and triple the number of WQs” and your response was still “daily players won’t have something to do 5/7 days”

You’re not even trying to be serious at this point.
