Youâre right someone who isnât playing the spec definitely can have a great opinion on how itâs performing. Play the spec after the nerfs, it is very good. I am literally telling you I played at 2800 mmr (vsing decent people that means) and I was very hard to kill, never died even because 90% of the time they didnât even go me because itâs a waste of time to go ret most of the time.

Lol, yeah I mean it depends how you view it I guess. I have never been a fan of passive absorbs in general as a form of survivability, I like active absorbs like sov or active DR like DP because it takes some knowledge to use properly while a passive absorb is just kind of there. Again this isnât just for ret, I dislike locks passive absorb too like ive said. But I see what you mean

Truthfully, I havent tried pushing rating in almost 10 years and most of my activities are just world content (I could hit 2k+ easy enough - never got the coveted 2200). But I still care enough to pay attention. And I mean, I donât care if my rating was 800 or if my last log in was in WoD. Most of what I said stands regardless of your opinion.
And I mean 2.5K on Ret while itâs very good at face value doesnât really impress. Arenât most competent Retâs getting that nowdays? lol I may be wrong. Last I checked, some of the guys I know well were pushing 3.2k++. Iâm more curious what your rating was when we sucked. lol
