True. Should have had that huge fx on your screen just like when you unlock vault slots. Also they could gave added a popup quest as soon as you got it that told you to go use the tokens on the vendor. Agree this could have been proofed alot more

So OP is permanently short of 1750 conquest points for S1. Reroll or quit seem to be the only two options. Good job blizzard.

This is the answer. Should be a pop-up quest once you hit the achieve that you need to accept which you turn in to the vendor and the reward is 2 tokens. It’s so obvious I seriously wonder what their hiring standards are these days.

Good suggestions, I would suggest they make the token cost for weapons baseline. (not just swap if you have a token in your bags).

And if you try to purchase without a token, it can pull up a dialog window. Would you like to purchase with X conquest instead? And then those red notes under “This item is purchasable with weapon gladiator tokens after obtaining 2500 conquest points”

Feel like that would be easy. But idk I’m not a developer haha

Or just wait for conquest to be uncapped which happens a long time before rating matters.

There’s also just grabbing a Bloody token weapon in a week or two because most people at this point will have run out of good (non-crit) pieces to buy.

Yah will have to probably just be my pve character until more cap available or even uncapped, the gear/power gap is a bit too much in the beginning since I wasted 1750 conquest haha.

So you knew about it. There’s no need to read forums or outside sources because the vendor itself gave you a quest that was letting you know this.

My guess is that you just kinda forgot about the quest and went to buy stuff from the vendors by inertia, since it’s always been like that.

Like they say, sh$$ happens, it is unfortunate but you can’t say there was no way for you to know this or that it was a trap. The good news is that, unless you’re being sweaty and trying to climb rn with mmr capped, it won’t affect you much.

I don’t think this can be solved with a ticket, it’s a sad situation but the game does a decent job at letting you know about this, even with the quest being turned into an achievement the info was there.

I think I was in the perfect scenario to be ‘trapped’. I thought there was going to be a quest turn in. But an achievement popped and the weapon unlocked, so I went ahead and purchased. Like in original post, I didn’t even notice the quest was gone, I was just playing the game haha. But yah $&@! happens, agree.

I picked up the quest after earning about 500 conquest, so I am going to be about a week behind on getting the weapon. Felt like a dope and was frustrated but it’s not the end of the world.

So you basically blew three weeks worth of conquest and wasted a weapon token. Sucks, but in reality its a a facepalm and a minor inconvenience. Nothing more. You’re going to temporarily be behind in gear. You can use the warmode gear as a suppliment in the meantime. And its not like you aren’t going to be playing the game for the next three weeks. You’ll earn it back. Everything is fine.

Nope, just hit cap (maybe even sooner), and you should be good to go and receive tokens in the mail. Make sure to use those!

Your are not understanding the impact and your suggestion is literally another trap lol.
OP is NOT missing the weapon, OP bought the weapon already but wasted 1750 conquest points, hence short of 2 pieces of 639 gear until season 1 ends. The 2 tokens are junk now as they can’t be used to buy anything else.

Bloody token is also capped, nobody should spend them on weapons since conquest weapon is superior and free. You would lose 3~4 pieces of 636 gears, again until the end of season. It’s another trap where a choice is strictly inferior and irrecoverable. LOL
