I use 2H and have to save 1800 conquest. Should I wait until cap is raised to buy my weapon or get any upgrades that I can now with the current cap?

ye its either buy weapon week 1 or buy a small piece week 1 and try to high roll from vault or as a 2hander player its hold till wep.

Weapons are always priority.
I dont remember the break down but i want to recall, its weapons first, then you get your ring with your best secondary stat that way you can use it and the honor ring with your best secondary stat, then the necklace, then your other ring then what ever else from then on.

Are weapons not just stat sticks now? I feel like there is a school of thought where you buy the cheap stuff with conquest and let the vault give you the expensive items.

Weapon dps is a very important stat.
Generally weapon will be more or much more of an upgrade than if you had spread the 1800 among various pieces. I’m not sure what it’s like for casters, but their weapons also have a fat chunk of bonus int to compensate for lack of weapon dps.
Basically a weapon upgrade is meant to feel the most important and impactful.

My auto shots do 1/3 of my damage.
I assume you are refferring to int,agi,str, and not like old school weapon dps from the olden days, or am I not aware of the stat?
