As much as the forums can be useful, I didn’t found a master-list of communities…

Best place, if you’re looking to make individual connections, is the Lion’s Rest park or Mage Quarter, and really I recommend Lion’s Rest, as Mage Quarter and Cathedral are where the problem people go… not Goldshire type problem people, just the edgy always looking for fights sort.
Unless you’re into that, would not recommend them, park is where the nicer folks go to get away from most of SW being overrun by crime and edgy mercenary RP. If you have Discord, many of the communities have Discord servers one can join.

While this is all valid, there is the slight problem of the Lag Gremlin that has conjured a spell over all of Stormwind.
If you wanna have a lag-free-ish experience, right now Duskwood and Redridge are excellent RP hubs! They always are…but they get the most action when SW lags.
Do not come down to the Deeprun Tram. It is mine and rats.
