Connection issues WOW51900319 error

Im having the same issue. No explanation, it just started within the last week. Mostly when the pre-patch for BC dropped. I log in and then get disconnected as soon as I move. Also when im about to pop all my cds and delete someone.

Soooo I thought I had hotspot through my cell phone but it seems that I don’t. Not sure what to do at this point lol. I’m saving up for a new router so I can have more range on the 5g but I won’t have all of the funds for a while. This issue just started maybe a week ago. Not sure what changed.

I’m not seeing any “funky” software packaged with the notebook. Like you say the other notebook disconnects as well. Can you run a WinMTR on the Cell connect.

I have tried to find a cell phone that has hotspot but was unable to do so. I can’t try but I do have a laptop so tomorrow I’ll go to a friends house and try there. The thing that gets me is that i can play the PTR or beta all I want without any disconnects. What’s different?? If the PTR and Beta works shouldn’t live also work???

This is a puzzle for a fact Yukii. You have tried a good number of things - the friend’s house is a good idea.

Let’s get a ticket open on this as well. Link this thread in the ticket.

Contact Support - Blizzard Support (battle.net)

I’ll link the support page here. Go through things one at a time. Open the Advanced troubleshooting as well.

World of Warcraft Disconnection Problems - Blizzard Support (battle.net)

If you have any question post back.

Thanks Tratt I followed your instructions and opened a ticket. HUGS!!! I’ll repost again tomorrow after I get back from my friends house.

This is a mystery - one thing can you run another WinMTR. I would like to see another one after all the ISP upgrades. Run two - 5 minutes each. Both Central and West Coast servers

Can you post the IP’s again I forgot them I think it was 24.105.62.129 but my memory maybe failing me LOL

137.221.105.2 (West Coast)
24.105.62.129 (Central - Chicago)

The WinMTR tool will save any IP you run - until you reset that.

No packet loss there - bit of a latency spike on the router. Average is good on the router though. You mentioned that you were shopping for a new router. The one you have there should have a small button - recessed likely - perhaps in a hole. That would be the factory reset button.

See if you can find that - use a tool to press then hold it down for 30 seconds.

Ok I tried that and it did reset everything on the router but it didn’t help any. I had to resetup the 2.4 and 5g wireless but hey its all good  I’ll try anything at this point :stuck_out_tongue:

I think you have jumped through the hoops twice over on this. I want to try something else here. First let’s check the Windows installation.

Type cmd in the Windows search box. Right click on Command Prompt that appears - select “Run as Administrator”

At the Command Prompt cursor type or paste: (after pasting click enter key to start things)

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth (takes a minute - then at C prompt run)

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth (this and the next command can take awhile)

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

*While running DISM using the /RestoreHealth or /ScanHealth, you could notice the process may seem stuck at 20% or 40%, normal behavior. After a few minutes the scan will finish. When the bar reaches 100% it may seem to stall give it some time.

Next run the System File Check command. It will take 10 minutes or so.

sfc /scannow (space between sfc and /scannow)

If sfc /scannow finds errors the tool will attempt to repair them. It will print that out. If it prints successful repairs - great. If it prints “could not repair all” - run it again.

Note - If you are typing the commands there is a space before each slash symbol - /

Let me know when that is done.

Reading through this again - after the ISP installed the new modem did you run a cable connect to that modem to test. Bypassing the router.

Hey Tratt I think I fixed it… I think… maybe lol I disabled ipv6 both in game and on my router. I read somewhere that IPV6 could be a problem but I can’t remember where I read it. So i checked the settings on the PTR and Beta and sure enough IPV6 was disabled. After disabling IPV6 and rebooting the computer I have been able to stay online for over 15 min without any disconnects on both the BCC and retail. I did the same thing to the MSI laptop and so far so good.
The setting in my router was under advanced/IPV6 connection type disabled.
I hope it doesn’t cause other issues disabling ipv6 all together but who cares wow seems to be working again LOL

Haha - I think you found it too. That setting can cause issues and I did not know it was being enabled by default these days.

Disabling it won’t cause any issues. I will be checking that on future threads - first thing to check.

Tratt you’ve been a HUGE help thank you so much!!! I would never have researched as hard as I did if you didn’t keep me going lol thanks!!!

That’s how the forum here works best. It isn’t official support - player help player. I often find that simply brainstorming with a person comes up with the solution. In this case it was a very simple solution that I overlooked.

Kept me entertained while I ran around Ungoro getting herbs for consumes all evening. Win Win
