I’m pretty sure when these things happen with Verizon (which they seem to be doing more frequently), it’s not a problem with Blizzard specifically or with Verizon specifically (other games/internet are working just fine) but with whatever server route is the go-between pipeline stops the the internet is jumping to between Verizon and Blizzard servers. It takes a bit to fix because they have to figure out where the problem is exactly and have it fixed where it’s broken and third party companies can own those.

I play off mobile connection and just DC’d in the middle of a Key run. It’s based out of North Carolina for my connection.
I will take my chances and play, enjoy sitting in forums.

Don’t be surprised if ur account gets hacked or have other issues with your account. Then you’ll enjoy sitting in forums longer than I have been 
Im not sure its Verizon. I log in from germany and I have the same issue as you guys. Obviously we do not have verizon.
My one day off to grind, rip.

From Montreal, Qc here and also unable to log on bnet for the past 15-20 minutes it’s not only Verizon.
Same issue with me in Northern Virginia

Hampton, VA, (Southern part of VA near the NC border), with Verizon, same issue.
Got kicked, can’t log back in to Battlenet.
Just ran a Tracert, the problems is somewhere after DC at this server:
12.122.135.236. There was a 637ms delay, and then it timed out.
