Connect Grobbulus to Pagle

warmode now could have saved server moves no one wanted en masse.

Horde basicall picked 3 homes. we can debate the match ups, whitemane and faerlina became nazgrim, immerseus or actually on pagle source server.

Warmode whitemanee could have stayed…whitemane.

Its how retail went. they didn’t tell Illidan and who ever top alliance servers was well….you all go ED.

they said…warmode. No on turns it on! well yeah, any alliance that said well I can use illidan are not stupid. its still the horde dominant server its always been. they jsut didn’t want to stay on some other server.

the value was all the horde got to keep guild, player names. something they’d not have if retail said 3 90% servers…go ED. I think ED was RPPVP, wow historians can correct ofc.

there is way to that. its called…warmode. its a phase. and they’d complain no one is using it.

when some are. you’d ahve to find them. Like me in retail. I for pet collecting turn on warmode. and chromie time MoP. and then run wrath questing.

I was able to be pvp’d. If you were in warmode phased for MoP…in wrath content. or anniversary events lol. I’ve shown flagged there. and 10 enemies in warmode said hi!. rather violently ofc. lol.

War mode is the worst thing ever, look retail world pvp is dead since shadowlands, still had some wpvp warmode on BFA but still was really tiny.

Blizz had one job to do, merge faerlina and bened and grob together and make fresh server that’s it.

WPVP was pretty dead in before warmode in retail. It basically had 1 server that the OGs of Grobbulus actually did a good job of recreating for Vanilla to WOTLK classic. When most of those guys moved on from classic it died for the most part on Grobbulus too. Just became an NPC farm fest to troll the other faction and doxx other players rather than actually WPVP.

Warmode kind of flopped because it tried to be a PVE reward vehicle to PVP. In BFA warmode was actually pretty bumping because they had zone wide events that were very PVP focused. They stopped doing this for the most part and reverted back to it just being a.. hey.. get more XP while you are leveling mode.. more or less… again.

Why does it bother you so much to realize people do not want world PVP. They don’t. We don’t have one-faction megaservers by accident, people voted that fighting the other faction is undesireable to them, they did in retail, same for classic, its just not something people want, so why fight so hard against its removal?

This. MoP classic is bleeding players. A few of the bigger PvP guilds on Grobb have left for anniversary in prep for TBC. Blizzard continues to screw players over by having players spread across so many versions of the game.

Good idea? Blizzard?

I am beginning to understand why we’re at this point, at least.

im not trapped in here with you
you’re all trapped in here with me

then why sod pvp server was the most populated, why anniversary pvp server is the most populated ? Why mop is losing lot players in NA and EU. Why china have more than 20 pvp servers and 4 pve servers. Why when we have fresh servers always the pvp one have more pop explain why

Faerline was a huge “pvp server”. You’d be hard pressed to find any world pvp anywhere regardless. The server label is meaningless.

Nop playing as alliance in faerlina you have lot wpvp. Also alliance community on faerlina was pretty huge, don’t look just at ironforge numbers.

a couple of rogues each night being flattened at the auchindoun summoning stone is a lot of pvp now? I never even saw Alliance during Wrath, and for Cata they never even tried doing TB dailies. Why the need to lie?

This was true, even when they gave the opportunity to swap to PvE during SoD. It wasn’t about status then (yet, we have the crazy idea still trying to be proven out).

I deeply believe WPVP with Flying and WPVP without Flying are just two fundamentally different games, and the latter is intrinsically more appealing since you can “react” to the incoming land war… PVP servers stop being about WPVP post-TBC since there’s no rewards tied to it, and there’s also no commitment given the ability to just roach out.

at one point faerlina alliance was holding the pvp points hostage.

they were asking horde to find ways to pay them to flip the towers. No money…well the towers can stay red all night long. No pvp quests for anyone lol.

I had whitemane horde in tbc too. Alliance did hit honor hold once in a blue moon. I’d not call in consistent or driving content. It was interesitng though. You go 2% alliance, have that fun.

since most times all the horde peeps at shattrath international airport weren’t coming anyway.

The ones in hellfire? Sure, I’ve always saw people asking to clear alliance out of them but never saw anyone bothering to. Every now and then people bored waiting for a Mag raid to fill or coming off H Shattered Halls or something would take one or two back but then moved on or raid started.

Most of the time people would just layer hop when pvp happened xD

whitemane we had a gentleman’s aggreement most times.

We let that 5% alliance flip all 3 and time to leave. We fiip them to red, they let us leave. repeat so all got the quest.

We’d get some hard chargers going why aren’t we fighting them.

Dude…we want the quests. hard to do when you scare off the like 20 alliance players online.

Warmode is the best thing ever.

Please do this, MoP isn’t going to pick up much with TBC coming out - it would be so appreciated

Yes, close the MoP servers. Agreed. MoP is dead.
