Idk why people speak ill of s5 in wotlk. It was unbalanced af, but every single class was fun to play. It was basically the same as right now, except classes had diverse toolkits, contrasting strengths and weakness, and if a rogue killed you in their cheapshot you probably weren’t wearing any resilience. (well, resil wasn’t really worth for like 50% of classes in s5 but you get my drift.)

(Tbh, pre-nerf overkill s5 rogues could easily kill low-resil cloth in a cheapshot. I had SS’s of 5k mutilate crits on 18k health vs plate lol.)

Probably because shadowmourne TSG and RMP gave everyone PTSD for years even after the fact.

RMP in WOTLK was what I played and it was damn fun.

Yeah. RMP was really fun and really good. Just nowhere near tyranny levels of representation, strength, or oppression.

RLS on the other hand.

RLS I also played. I remember getting raged at by enemy teams because of playing that comp. Same for my friend who was playing LSDee

I talked my highschool classmate into playing so I’d have a priest to play with on my crap server. dude got poached by a mage & shaman in durotar, and I literally sat behind him and watched as they all literally s-key’d and clicked to 2400+ as shatterplay from my highschool library on stolen wifi.
