Different people like different things. FF questing is god awful for me. That is busy work.

I wouldnt know. I didnt last a week in FF14 because of the anime/manga thing.
i love ESO questing and nearly everything about the game.
The only thing that really keeps me playing WoW…for now…is the races, especially the pandas.
If ESO had better races I doubt Id come back to woW at all.

Thats why it took longer to get that done in Legion, with the time gating and all, VS BFA you can get pretty quickly (week and a half with not going into Naz for days in that time frame).

The game was more popular when you got to max level and had some rep . Like In mop . Grinding is a part of the game and there are rewards attached to that , doesn’t need to be flying though . The time played model has hurt wow more then helped . I think so anyway .

BFA maps are modern game maps (since MoP).
They are fun. There can be hidden places/cavern at every corner.
The vertical aspect of maps is fun, you can see/kill from above.

It is, in my opinion, a very big improvement compared to old empty maps surrounded by rocky walls that we got in Vanilla, BC, WotLK and Cata.

Maps are now simply amazing.

Seriously after playing since release i gotta hand it to you Blizz you really know how to suck the fun out of the game with grinds and horrible terrain design. I’m sick of doing pathfinder grinds every expansion. They get more and more bloated every expansion.

But hey you don’t care, you make this evident more and more with bad decisions. And it seems you guys never run out of those. Here’s to hoping you guys actually make some decisions based on fun and not the bloated time metric for the next expansion. But hey i’m not holding out hope after this xpac.

I’m sick of doing pathfinder grinds every expansion.

I’m not a fan of Pathfinder but it’s silly to call it a grind when you get it just from playing the game. It’s not like we have to go and do dailies for a faction called Pathfinder that rewards nothing but flying.

That said, they’re holding back part two way too long and it’s ridiculous that they leave Pathfinder in for past expansions. Expecting players to do content from three expansions ago to fly there is silly. Each new expansion Pathfinder should unlock all past Pathfinders.

I agree fully with your second paragraph, but it’s disingenuous to pretend pathfinder comes from “playing the game” when the truth is, it comes from playing the game in a very specific way.

If loremaster and explorer for an expansion were normal play for the average player, more people would have those achievements prior to WoD introducing them as requirements for pathfinder.

If I’m not interested in actually flying myself where I want I use a flight path.
I fly because I love the freedom to check out things on the way, and stop and explore or fight or otherwise interact with the environment on the way.

So, I called the developers idiots and insane for totally destroying the game. They suspended me for 4 days… Last time I checked, I live in the USA. Lol, so much for free speech. I do believe being an idiot is a choice, you are not born an idiot, it is something you choose. The funny thing is that in the game certain characters developed by WOW developers use quite a bit abusive language to make their points, calling people, REAL PEOPLE “swine” for example.
