so we had a 8 hour maintenance for what? not complaining just confused was it just for maintenance? did it do anything?

one of the server fans had some dust buildup in the axle and was spinning at wrong RPM.

They added Vault Ambassador NPCs, so I am guessing the update was to update the world/assets. They probably added some other things we’re not really aware of right now as well.
The guild bank functionality is probably active, but can’t be accessed. Etc etc.
It’s actually good they decided to do two shut downs. Normally they’d attempt it in one and we’d have delays. They were smart enough to split up the work that the unpaid intern has to do.

Does Blizzard or any company need to justify any action they do? They clearly needed to do maintenance, so they did it. I was off work today, it sucked, I was looking to play, but I didn’t get to for a few hours. So what?
Lol this is exactly what I thought when I saw the announcement. Kind of just scoffed and went on my way. Is what it is.

so did you not read my post? i clearly stated i wasn’t complaining but was curious as to what the purpose of today’s maintanence was. maybe you should go back and actually read my post first before you actually start posting. i never said they have to justify anything. i merely asked a simple question.

They are adding guild banks, lfg tool and ending season one of arena I think. SSC out in a few weeks.

Well, yeah. We’re the customers. Blizzard is one of the few companies that doesn’t think enough of their customers to tell them ANYTHING.

No one said they needed to justify anything. They asked a basic question. Took very little to get you tilted. You should relax more on your off day.

They’re adding all over phase 2’s content. 2.5.2 contains all of the changes. then they just unlock some features gradually until mid september
think of it as a prepatch to Phase 2. It’s likely a lot of features like gbank, LFG tool, etc are going to be available today with SSC/TK and phase 2 content coming out in the 15th. Read the patch notes on mmochampion.

They almost always say an 8 hour window+ for maintenance. Usually it doesnt take that long.
if I buy a pizza and they put nails on it, I would like the pizza company to justify that action.
