Doomhammer is the most iconic armor the orcs have, as when they can they are reaching back into Vanilla and the RTS series for inspiration. Hence the Dwarven set was Mountain King themed, and the Blood Elf one was Spellbreaker themed.

Rejoice! Heritage armor is not forsaken! Very curious what they will make for humans and orcs that hasn’t been done already… I’ll wager the orc set and quests will reflect their shamanic roots. As for the humans, I personally hope that the armor and quests are based on their Arathi lineage instead of Stormwind or the Seven Kingdoms. I’m expecting something knightly, but with barbarian influences.

BFA was marred by inter-office spite against Metzen(after he left) while Shadowlands was marred by inter-office spite against Afrasiabi(after he left).
Legion had inter-office spite against Kosak but that only resulted in Vol’jin dying since Legion didn’t have any core values that Kosak valued.
Dragonflight has nothing for inter-office spite to latch on to so it’s not threatened by that.
I don’t know, shanking Vol’jin to transfer his short-lived main character privileges to Sylvanas sounds like a ritual murder done in Kosak’s honor.

I think it would be awesome if there were different armors for different warchiefs
and humans for different kingdoms

if I have to pick one armor for orcs maybe updated Korkron armor
There’s a lot of Legion and MoP inspiration in Dragonflight, which I love given that they were my favorite expansions.

I still hope we get playable allied races in this expansion. This is the ideal time to make Tuskarr, Gnolls, Kobolds or Furbolgs playable.

As this isn’t a faction based expansion, I sort of feel any AR they added would be a neutral one to fit that theme. Tuskarr might work as they are not really tied to any one faction history wise.

On that note, I’ve noticed that there’s at least thee Tuskarr tribes on the Dragon Isles. The Iskaara in the western Azure Span, the tribe (forgot their name) that lost their home (Imbu) in the Eastern Azure Span, and then the Uktulut in the Waking Shore that is the focus of the Tuskarr Renown Quest Chain.
Now because of that, I can easily see Blizzard keeping the Iskaara tribe itself neutral, while sliding the other two tribes into the factions, in the event of playable Tuskarr. That way it doesn’t feel like the Iskaara is being split in half and they can avoid the negative reaction response that has been displayed from seeing former neutral factions joining the other side.

I’M hoping we can get a memorial to someone like Lothar or we invade lordearon and make Turyalon head of state there also to take back the tomb of tyr.

Yeah. I was a bit taken aback that they are going with Humans and Orcs. Those could have waited and been held in reserve for when they become more of a focus. Just seems like an odd time as far as where the story is.
But even more so, because Humans and Orcs already have so much of their iconic looks in game. From the Warfronts to Garrisons to everywhere else.

And on the topic of WC 3, we are getting Warden Transmogs. That is an appearance many have clamored for.
Maybe the Orcs will get the Black Doomhammer set, and Humans will get some tribal throwback outfit that calls back to ancient Arathi. Something Conan-esque, like a loin cloth or kilt. Maybe it will be adorned with Troll tusks, though that could be antagonizing to Trolls.
