Did anyone else notice that they had to use Legion as the baseline comparison of what is a good expac? LOL

Weird thought… could they be doing the reclaiming of gilneas as a human heritage quest line?

Because it is a good expansion and one I’m glad they’re using as a baseline instead of BfA or SL

Honestly.

About bloody time.

Considering that both BFA and Shadowlands were marred by inter-office spite, It’s a rather obvious choice.

They are vague on 10.1.7, but I 100% think a new heritage armor will end up being part of its “Story and quests” content.

In general it is good to see a solid roadmap.

definitely a weird option, with gilneans being also a playable race.
I’d expect they’ll probably go with Stormwind history specifically, or at most make passing reference to the seven kingdoms in general.

Cool. Sounds solid

Well they could angle as humanity reclaiming its ancestral lands. If they treat it as generic ‘human’ heritage rather than stormwind human in specific. I am sort of scared they will make it into a “find our missing true king Anduin” mission, though.

My guess is they’ll likely tie the human heritage armor into Arathi, since that was the birthplace of the humans and the first major kingdom/superpower for them.

There is literally zero chance the human heritage quest won’t just be about the Wrynns.

I just hope the armor isn’t a bulky plate-looking set, there’s already so much human plate. The Stormwind guard set from the garrison is even already cosmetic for all armor types if you want that look.

I wonder when the Kaldorei, Trolls, Pandaren will get their heritage armor next.

They already had their heritage thing. The last few heritage quests consisted of you showing up and “congrats here’s your new armor!”

Interested to see what Orc/Human heritage armor looks like, since it feels like they’ve already done every iconic look for those guys a half dozen times.

I’m half expecting they just throw Thrall and Varian’s armor sets at us but who knows.

I am sort of thinking they might pair forsaken and Kaldorei and do the new world tree and a refresh of surface Lordaeron City and the same time.

I can see blizz doing something like that. The tree will likely be planted on Kalimdor, we just know we’re going to be protecting it on the Isles until it’s time to plant it I assume.

I do wonder what the heritage armor for both would look like though. Probably something calling back to their classic look perhaps.

Please, blizz. Gimme it.

Beyond that though, I do not know I 100% think they will put it in kalimdor, despite that being what would be best in many ways. It is just… not practical as far as I can see and I am super squinting at the obvious world tree sized hole in the map of the dragon isles.

I wonder what they’ll channel for the orc set. The way I see it they could go with Thrall’s doomplate, Suarfang’s BfA armor or maybe an iconic shaman look.

I don’t think we need another grunt set.
