Conduits being consumed is a good thing

I actually think it’s a lot easier to 1 spec a class if you play one of the Pure DPS classes.

Most people i know who play a hybrid class play at least 1 of their other roles, and often all of them. In those situations, while yah it’s a choice that they want to multi role, systems like the proposed just punish that choice.

uh oh, they’re gathering data on which specs to prune aren’t they?

force people to 1 spec, see which are the least played, and give them the 2022 expansion prune

The thing is now im going to be like the other members in our raid team will be spending our time farming multiple of these every week just so we can swap and change based on the content we are doing at the time and we wont be bringing in those who dont the more casual player. So now high end keys and mythic raids the more casual player is going to be excluded from even more than they are now by us 1%ers. I will look forward to reading the forums after sl launches with all the casuals complaining we are toxic and gatekeeping them when we tried to warn you but you insisted it was a good thing

LOL

Please take the :blue_heart: that was hilarious!

Also as for the topic, make Conduits work like Essences.

Wait til raider IO reports peoples soulbinds. It will be like the dead sea on the forums.

I donno if it’s as much white knighting. I’ve played a ton of other MMOS over this past year and generally speaking it’s true - the wow style dungeons and raids are pretty unique.

The closest is Final Fantasy 14, but the dungeons don’t scale (and are 3 bosses only wut) so they’re really easy even as the “Challenge Dungeons”, and the raids even at the top end are “Make mistake and instant die” until you’ve got the dance down and then it’s easy.

I mean if we ignore different genres (ignore FPS stuff i suppose) then it’s a pretty rare game type. Maybe New World (if it comes out lol) will be a good alternative?

I’m not talking about soulbinds, am I?

I mean there’s FFXIV for the casual side. There’s way more to do there and no systems or borrowed power dragging you down. I’m only here because my best friend is addicted to this game and I’m compromising. So for my casual butt I might abandon the game again like I did for the majority of BFA and Wod. It’s just not good. And Shadowlands doesn’t look better.

Pointing out a typo instead of substance, way to contribute constructively.

I agree with you, even though when it comes to monks I only play windwalker I still agree with you.

That’s the entire conversation here, I said they’d probably be different soulbind and you were talking about cost for switching.

FFXIV doesn’t provide the difficulty OR the quantity.

You can have 2 mythic level bosses an expansion, 2.

Savage is like heroic.

FFXIV is also designed in such a way that you can take breaks and not feel like you need to be playing every day to keep up.

So i played FF14 for a big chunk. The story is honestly top shelf, and INITIALLY the predictable gearing is nice.

But honestly there’s not really as much to do at cap as you think. Any content that’s lower level isn’t worth it, so you end up capping your tombstones for the week and then… hunt for transmog stuff? It’s mega front loaded so while leveling it seems like this HUGE world of stuff to do, but once you’ve done it once it’s not that compelling to re do.

FF is good, but it really doesn’t have the difficulty to scratch that itch.

I said casual for a reason dip nugget.

No need to insult, I wasn’t talking about casuals to begin with, but the people who want to raid for the challenge of it, or do m+, nothing for them.

Yeah, no. To be fair some bosses on Savage might be easier than others but it’s much closer to Mythic raiding in difficulty.

Sure, they don’t really do M+/Mythic raids like WoW does. Unreal trials are bonkers but that’s an extremely niche crowd.

Edit: ultimate, not unreal.

No, not in the least. Ultimate is closer, but savage is super easy compared to later mythic.
