Concern with Mechagnomes

My only Concern with Mechagnomes is the fact that the Alliance will still find something else to complain about…

Why would a robot wear clothes to start with?

Posting on my alt who will be re-rolled Mechagnome for leveling and Transmog set.

I agree with your points. I would love to see them do something more like what the Forsaken do, where the Mechanical joints can bee seen, but the Mog is still visible.

As for the full bot look, the Heritage Armor has the Full robot head.

Meanwhile, for every thread with a concern about Mechagnomes, there’s like 20-30 threads from Horde complaining about Vulpera.

Mechagnomes should get clothes options for their arms/legs at the same time as undead getting clothes options that aren’t torn. Helps both factions at the same time.

You can do it, Blizz! Let the hands and feet be unmoggable for Mechagnomes and let the backbones stick out for Undead.

Decent compromise?

Very true.

you know machinery works better in the cold… so why are you trying to overheat the poor gnomes?

To cover their nuts and bolts, of course!

I really do think they should’ve just made them both neutral, seeing as the war is over. Would’ve solved all the complaining too, and there’s lore reasons for both to be neutral at the same time.

Mechagnomes - Both Factions Helped save them from King Mechagon. We know the Alliance Mechagnomes quest involve the Gnomes, so the Horde storyline could’ve involved the Goblins, not hard.

Vulpera - They outright tell the Horde during questing they don’t have friends, they only help who they consider best in their interests at the time. Thus, it’s not hard to write a story where part of the Vulpera see the Alliance in their best interest. Especially since they un-canonized the “Purge Squads” so the Alliance never actually harmed any Vulpera.

Hell, using the 2 Pandaren leaders to recruit the Vulpera would’ve worked insanely well.

Except that the Alliance were trying to enslave and kill the vulpera in wf so how did you come to that conclusion?

No they weren’t? Where did you see them trying to enslave them? Don’t mix up Ashvane with the Alliance.

There is the misconception that the Alliance tried to kill them in the Vol’dun incursion, but that was de-canonized, as the Alliance-side only has them scare them off using totems, and burn their wagons because they were carrying war supplies for the Horde.

In Vulduni wf quests you have to save them from the Alliance who are burning their wagons and killing and or capturing them.

Yes, that was not canon. On the Alliance side, you are strictly told not to harm the Vulpera, are given totems to scare them off, and told to burn the wagons only.

On the Horde side it is canon so?

There was a dev interview a bit ago that said that the Alliance did not harm them, I don’t feel like looking for the link though.

Something about how Anduin would not have condoned it.

Okay 1: If something is to be not canon they shouldn’t show it on a Horde wq.

2: Until I see this so called interview it is canon.

  1. Purge of Dalaran. It’s Blizzard’s trademark. Show both sides 2 different stories and only canonize one of them in an interview later.

Cause why the hell not? Blizzard are horrible storytellers.

EDIT: Of course, with Purge of Dalaran, they canonized the Alliance side later, but then in BFA they did a weird hybrid of both of them when it came to Lor’themar talking to Jaina, so I gave up.

If you covered up their mechanical parts whats the difference between them and a gnome?

Personally I only think they look decent wearing their full heritage armor. Outside of that they look like they are wearing diapers.

tbh with the right mog most of the AR would be identical to their original race

That’d certainly be much better. Would have to see it in game to know if I could actually play it. But preferable over invisible.

Mechagnome Dks might be coming but probably not in 8.3 you know that right?
