Thank you for admiting that you didn’t read my post at all and you don’t play the game.
Move on and stop trying to be the “cool troll” because you’re ridiculous. This post is for discussion, not for you.
Yeah and if I’m not a die hard try hard fan of blizzard I’m not welcome in the game either? Good luck with that philosophy.
You and people like you are the reason for the exodus from this game.
This discussion is about pets being ignored in dungeons and raid enviroments. Are you THIS dummy? First you don’t know how a pet’s growl work, then you try to personally talk about me? You are trying too hard to be a troll in the internet, and this forum specifically. You are not cool, you are not adding anything to the post. ANYTHING.
See why I told this discussion was not for you?
And if I want to add something to your empty comments: growl actually helps in raid enviroments. Makes the healers and some low dps’ threat down, and my pet can soak some things instead of them. A pet that out threat ANY tank means that the tanks is SO bad that should uninstall really quickly.
Please hop off my thread, make yourself a favor.
Pets die to fast in raids to heal em anyway.
In dungeons sure ill heal your pet. But in 25 mans i have other prios going on than healing your stupid ravager.
as a healer and hunter player:
heal your own pet.
You started the ad hominem attacks. You just got mad because I said I left the game because of people like you.
Got it, so you want wow to be nothing but metas who fully understand deep code.
Don’t you worry us filthy casuals are leaving your game.
ofc you have other priorities, but if you decide to ignore my “stupid ravager” you’re just a bad player. Mend pet doesnt save my pet from dying, recalling my pet in EVERY situation is a dps loss = longer runs = potential wipes at 1% boss (yeah, this happes). Am I saying that I shouldn’t mend pet? NO.
I am, I’m asking for help to do so, I’m asking to stop ignoring my pet because it does solid dps, I’m asking for hots, I’m asking to have them on THE BOTTOM of your prio list instead of literally ignoring them, I’m asking for buffs, I’m asking for people to NOT get angry if I ask for Might, Kings.
Being at the bottom of the priority list in raids means no heals because the bad dps is still a higher priority than the pet.
problem is, when i can heal the pet, the fight is already over.
Control your and it won’t die simple.
The DPS loss compared to having your pet die and you rezzing or not rezzing your pet will always be more then you controlling it.
In raid your pet will likely never be healed by tank healers and may never get healed outside and of occasionally getting a hot or two.
The more likely problem is you macro’d kill command to your study shot and refuse to control your pet. You’re trying to justify a minor DPS increase that adds a few second seconds overall to fights
Honestly your making it sound like your trying to parse and the average player doesn’t care about your parse in content thats beatable by my cat slamming the keyboard.
There’s only a hand full of fights you need to control your pet in anyways. Like gruul rocks, shade, and prince and nightbane you get to do f all in the rest pretty much.
And for heroics it barely matters at all groups are mostly t4 at this point the bosses die almost instantly at this point kill most of them before a boss can even two cycle at this point even if it does die so who cares unless your trying to parse a heroic.
lmao i love your nick

Thanks as an ultimate ff14 raider I sure do see a lot of people upset over content my toaster could do.
Honestly if you wanna be sweaty be sweaty but don’t make everyone have to be sweaty with you unless they agreed to be.
That’s because in OG BC growl was a proper taunt. A hunter leaving growl on was a HUGE no-no. Now it doesn’t matter.
Lot more pally tanks then warriors helps.
It honestly doesn’t matter. Growl is an absolute joke.
Oh, so having an understanding of TBC mechanics isn’t helping me in TBCR…. Makes more s4nce now. Thanks.
Imagine thinking I’m blaming TANK HEALERS for not healing my pet. Occasionally getting a hot or two is exactly what I’m asking for.
That’s a terrible take because you don’t know how I personally play, but yeah. I have steady shot without macro in my hotbars, when I need to recall my pet (Nightbane’s charred earth) I do so, and every hunter needs to. But in some scenarios you just cannot recall it completely, they need heals.
Terrible take again considering the time TBC is out. I’m asking for healers and buffers to STOP IGNORING MY PET, who cares in which phase we are? Who cares how geared we are if pets are still being ignored? Read my thread please.
Again, there’re terrible hunters that don’t control their pets, those hunters are TERRIBLE AT THE GAME. There’re healers that doesn’t even have pet frames on, there’re healers that REFUSE to heal pets, even with the full party at 100% and with more than 80% mana. There’re paladins that REFUSE to buff pets, and they get angry when I ask for it.
I’m just, again, asking to please stop ignoring pets, they DO matter. More than players? NO, NO ONE EVER SAID THAT.
I mean you make it sound like the takes are pretty spot on but again it doesn’t matter how you play.
The average player doesn’t tailor the gameplay experience around you. If you want that only run with players willing to tailor to your specific needs. Don’t expect the average gamer to go above and for you.
