Competing against 30+ people for every mob and quest is getting old really quickly

I currently see 10 layers up, there should be more like 20.

I thought after the initial starting zone it would become a bit more tolerable, but I’m 22 now and every single mob and quest are competed for by at least 10 people.

It’s completely sucking the fun out of the experience. Doing a single quest that should take 5 minutes is taking an hour.

Toxicity? I’ve had people whisper me telling me to end my life because I took a mob they wanted. Conversely I’ve had people whisper me things like “LOL YOU CAN’T EVEN GET A SINGLE MOB” after they tag every spawn for half an hour.

Classic is supposed to be chill and enjoyable, if I wanted to play some toxic nonsense I’d just log in to League of Legends.

I got my warlock up to level 16 and then decided to go make a priest. So much more fun now that everyone else is so far ahead of me in levels.

Have you tried moving zones? Plenty to go around seeing as everyone likes to rush the human zones.

Group up or leave the zone. it’s not hard.

Every zone is the same. I invite people to group they decline.

being behind the leveling curve does have its advantages.

My era starter I’ve turned down guild groups since IRL has sucked today lol. I don’t join groups knowing I will log in say 10 minutes.

Benefit of guilds are people tend to say why they turn down things. Like I told my crew I have to wait and pick up son from wrestling practice. No hurt feelings and I found who some of the OCE/asia region members are since it daytime in this part of the world.

I’ll try for their groups later when my to do crap is done lol.

Ive been grinding boars to level my cooking. Take the road less traveled and you can avoid the crowds.

Levels are sorta meh, but being a month behind is a little rough if you like more dedicated players for raids.

Overall its not really a problem if you already have a level cap action plan.

If they increased the xp for grouping then yes i could see that but right now joining a group lowers your xp by miles.

agreed, no idea what they are doing there. There are absolutely not enough layers.

go to less populated zones :expressionless: silverpine on nightslayer is very chill, for example
