Comp diversity

Got jebaited into believing I’d face another comp a few nights ago. Queued into a scatter play then fought rm/x for 13 games straight lmao. Obviously it’s a strong comp but it’s kind of crazy to see it be good for so long. Idk if people are meta slaving and will only play that if you are a mage/rogue but would be fun to have more diversity. Was a bit of an anomaly but generally a ton of rm/x’s queuing in general

Rogue and Mage players only know how to play RMX. I guess having a playstyle that’s more than just pressing Kidney on CD, or cycling between Poly and GPyro is too advanced.

that’s how the meta evolve organically for you.
It doesn’t evolve at all. The strongest classes stay the strongest classes.

Yeah definitely strongest come to the top. Just sucks to not see anything switch for so long and makes it a little boring sometimes. Playing vs a diff comp makes it more enjoyable/having variety. Probably a fault of their being a small handful of strong comps vs a large group of weak. I think s1 is a good example of a lot more being played!

This is kinda the problem when they make alts impossible and tie gear behind rating.

If I ask my friends to play with an enhance they’re gonna tank rating and get worse gear. Like why would we play anything other than rsham/dh/dk or warrior. Zero point of messing around with a sub par turbo.

Then none of us can keep alts up and they feel so much weaker we don’t mess around on alt comps either.

PvP definitely feels like an all time low right now. The sheer number of dhs you see in 2s is amazing… Lol

You know the whole alt thing makes a lot of sense. When people can play more classes easily obviously it’ll increase pvp numbers and participation. I know a few people who would alt more but it’s just too much this patch/xpac. definitely agree it’s a good point.

I thought with 2.4 gladiator we’d see a lot more diversity because once players got their mount they’d just play random stuff with friends for fun

I think a lot of people don’t want to go into arena without bis corruption this patch and alts are still a lot of work. I feel like it did bring a lot of people s1/s2 and before they nerfed PvP gear drops everyone was doing arena it was great

I also learned that the only chance of me ever encountering you in the arena would be if I was selling 2’s carries.

My friend (who’s much better at PvP) played with me a lot less because they had to focus on one toon and PvP rewards were tied to rating.

If they played with me, I would have dropped them into the lower brackets with worse PvP rewards.

I hate BFA.

Kinda feel like comp diversity is slightly better but realistically meta is nearly the same as 8.1

Weird that 8.0 had the most diversity of the xpac tbh

It’s pmuch the same.

Rmp, rmd, maybe sub mage for a lock and the occasional rps team.

all i ever see is lock/monk/x, the new and improved rmx

I know I’m a DH and everything, but I always tilt to a 45 degree angle every time I see a Destruction Warlock on the enemy team.

1 good thing is you usually don’t have to wait 15 minutes to see who is going to win this season. Most of my games have been over a lot faster than S2/3.

You know i feel like the end of xpacs were typically the most balanced and should have everything be good but they haven’t really changed much. S1 had much variety it was a blast.

What… what does sanc have to do with TV???
