I hope you’re asking in other areas. The forums are heavily biased in a specific direction. I doubt you’ll get meaningful results.
Is there a way to skip to the results? I’ve filled it out and it’s asking me to fill it out again.
that is something that is a problem with the survey, you should only be able to fill it out once.
If you’d stuck around you would have seen the questions about alts.
Cant see results, it just asks me to fill it out over and over and over. I can fill it out as many times as I want, but can never see the results.
If you do the quiz again you can save the link from the results page and when you put it in the search bar it should bring you to the results page again.
I had no clue what the question “would you support retail graphisms” meant. Now I realize it is retail graphics I think, so like would I support the quality of the graphics being upped from original TBC? If so my answer changes. If graphisms is really a thing then my english is not good enough to understand the question.
Very black and white answers for a lot of the more nuanced ones
Thank you everyone for the feedback and for participating
Well, yes every question can have nuanced answers. And I am sure many people are playing both Horde and Alliance, several characters etc. But this survey is not a vote on topics, it is just to get an idea on how the community feels toward certain subjects and a yes and no is the easiest way to do this.
This is unfortunately not something I can control. I gave access to the answers but you need to keep a copy of the results.
Is this link working?

I could implement a “log in to gmail” to answer only once but I am not sure people would be willing to log in their emails which I could potentially see.
I’d rather keep this completely anonymous and just trust the community to fill this once.
I understand and I agree, and I am sure many people including myself will end up with several level 70. I tried to include alts with the question “which will be your 3 next characters” but ultimately, the point is to see which one will be the most played class at least at the beginning of TBC.
This survey is probably not perfect, I agree but at the end of the day the goal is just to get an idea where the community leans at the moment.
wish there was something like strawpoll where it automatically detected if somebody took the poll but was anonymous. trusting the community is a bad idea XD
I know it is but at the end of the day; if someone just wants to skew the results for the sake of it and fill the survey dozens of time well … It is just sad haha
Interesting survey.
Hopefully your poll sees a significant amount more responses and Blizzard doesn’t gloss over this particular question:
Yes, the sample size isn’t significative right now and I am personnally not in favor for Dual Spec but this was a topic thrown left and right so I added the question anyway
I agree we need a larger sample size, however that seems about right for the Dual Spec question. There seems to be a lot more support for it than not honestly. I have seen a large amount of support for it on the wow forums, reddit (both r/classicwow and r/classicwowtbc – though it is mentioned on reddit less than here). I was watching a youtube video on it the other day and the guy had put out a poll to his followers and he had 2 polls, one with 14K responses and one with 20K responses (i forget which was the dual spec and which was the boosting) but for both he had a majority of people (like 70%+) who are in favor of both.
Even listening to the Countdown to Classic podcast from last week when this got brought up to the panel of 4? guests, most were in favor or neutral. Only 1 was actively against it.
And for the anecdotal evidence, i was talking to some guildies yesterday and all 5 of us talking were in favor of Dual Spec.
So for this particular question i think it’s probably not far off though again i agree the sample size for this particular poll is too small.
In general i hope this poll or a more refined “lessons learned” poll if that happens does gain traction like that super classic poll that was going around for awhile that had like 20K people respond
SeiJuron, thanks for putting this together. This was fun.
As expected, most people support the boost. It’s a vocal minority who oppose it.
Yeah that really surprised me, guess the stuff about the vocal-minority is true! These forums had convinced me otherwise.
Though to be honest the boost favors the botters. Anyone that really wanted to play tbc either started in classic day1, has returned, or started to lvl up soon as blizzard announced it in one of the higher population servers.
Simple as that.
My English is excellent and I had to Google that one.
