No, it was not intentional.
People were worried the Council would be all streamers and not normal players.
Then they brought in normal people who don’t hang out in that group - who don’t pay a whole lot of attention to the streamers.
I was not being passive aggressive and did not intentionally spell it wrong to take a stab at him. Yes, it was wrong. When pointed out I corrected it.
Let people admit when they are wrong and correct things.
I don’t understand the hate. Most of the frustration I saw was never about casuals getting good gear, although some comments like that were made and I thought they were selfish and lame. Most of it was about the expectation to run all sorts of content to stay competitive at the top end.
I highly, highly doubt a CC member is going to push the envelope after the recent drama. Give it a rest - they admitted the mistake. Move on. Please.

the problem with any discussion on the topics is that bliz really needs to discuss the heavy monetization design because it colors and influences almost all of their design decisions - especially things like loot and excessive grinds
bliz has never uttered a single word being transparent about their monetization design ever since gold was added to the cash shop - cept ole Ion who expressed in a blow off comment that they could make the cash shop much much worse
that guy really knows how to make a player lose faith in the game he is in charge of
