Yes, but I love my Darkspear bois, even if dey do got back problems.
The secret here is that, as their idle animation shows, Darkspear can stand upright but choose not to. Checkmate.
What a power move.
What is “in-no-cent?”
Those crystals have apparently always been there according quests in the starter zone, they were just filled with arcane apparently. They’re what powers our brooms and floating stuff
Its unclear if they always had spooky eyes
But I think its safe to say that the blood elves started using fel to repair and power their cities under the guidance and leadership of Kael’thas, right?
But despite Kael’thas betraying the elves to those very demonic forces that doesn’t mean the blood elves are going to outlaw the study of demonology, banishing their loyal warlocks and demon hunters!
Belves would know more than most about how corruptive magic can be.
I think the main difference between the two is that, while fel can be corruptive and -might- lead to a demon talking to you, most records show its only -one- demon, and the worst that happens is you get a few horns and wings
With the void, it seems to be a chorus of voices no matter what. After Alleria, it looks as though the individual also becomes an anchor point for the void, a sort of highway when they get too close to something powerful
That doesn’t seem to match up with what we’ve seen in the demon hunter starting area, where those who are unable to handle the power became dangerous to themselves and others.
And on the warlock side of things, talking to demons seemed to lead to some of the worst catastrophes in azeroth’s history. I hope the blood elves, as descendants of the highborne, haven’t forgotten what queen Azshara did?
Of course not every demon hunter or warlock goes bad. But neither does every user of shadow/void magic!
All magic in Warcraft has been shown to have physical and psychological effects on its user. “Corruption” is just a term associated with the “negative” powers. While “infused” or “forged” is more common with the “positive” ones.
The demon hunters explode or go insane from being saturated in fel too quickly beyond the point their bodies can contain it. So they go boom. Slower exposure to fel has the physical effects of developing “demonic” features like fel green eyes, horns, wings, cloven feet, etc.
If the Sunwell had not been fixed eventually all the belfs would look like the fel elves in Outland/the Sunwell who were exposed to much more fel but not so much at once they detonated.
Void Elves don’t get a say in this Raventress.
They’re stinky Void Elves and don’t get to enjoy the fact we defeated the void as we defeated the Legion.
On the other hand, the validity of “Sylvanas was cast out for killing innocents” is debatable, at best.
Sylvanas is an uncomfortable reminder this is unfortunately not how government works.
It was more like she chunked the deuces and peaced out on the Horde.
im an uncomfortable reminder that it really do be like that sometimes
cant type either, sad
It may not paint the horde in a particularly honorable light, but it seems realistic to me that the biggest factor in whether a group continues to follow a leader is whether that leader still has patriotism/loyalty for that nation/organization/whatever.
Seems to work that way in real life: there’s a reason why all those political ads have so many flags and national symbols all over the place. Its to reassure us that they’re very patriotic and love their country, something thatll get many people to forgive the terrible things they do to other countries.
So it is with a warchief who does messed up stuff to the Alliance but manages to convince others that they do it for the Horde.
That is one of the many problems, yes.
Also really depends on what you find “messed up.” I didn’t find anything she did all that messed up (from an in-game perspective. Obviously if it was done in rl that’s a whole different issue. But my characters are pretty amoral… so… yay murder!). But then that also can go for real-life as well. Looking at you 2016 and 2020.
I believe they also eat the demon, whereas dabbling in void comes out just as bad.
Trying to get into Sargeras pants/loincloth?catherine
We also remember Kael’thas and Kil’jaeden
in my own opcalbario
Fel empowers the individual through domination over its power.
Void empowerment happens through surrendering to its power
I am stealing this. This is mine now.
