like you guys aren’t even using it for ikea furniture c’mon
Do you see any chairs in Orgrimmar, my gamer?
You know, that explains why no one else was sitting on those stools… or well, I guess they weren’t stools and more just tiny spikes on the ground.
Chairs are for the weak.
The elf knows too much…you know what you must do.
Oh no trust me, I never like to blanket ban. I always have a hard time fully expressing my views on things and its why I write so much so I can try and make sure I’m as understood as possible. If the player really put a lot of thought into it , and went the extra mile to make it seem appropite then I think thats fine and fun! I had Gotosh and Zarg ICly be in Darnassus , but we had a whole group of people around us buffering our safety. It’s more so the “I should be able to do whatever I want, nobody cares” ect ect. I just like seeing people think about their surroundings with depth and consequences. That’s what I’m all about.
We’re def ont he same page. We’ve ran into each other too much in tense cross faction situations. You’re a great RPer and it’s always been a joy when I’ve run into you!!!
Fight fire with fire, I guess?
“Night Elves are vegetarian/vegan”.
Um, no - they eat meat. The national dish is spider kabobs. A daily quest has you cook up some ribs for hungry sentinels. Darnassus has a Meat Vendor. Nothing suggests Night Elves don’t eat animals. Their mounts are BIG CATS. Cats are obligate carnivores. Even their mounts eat meat.
And yet, this is a super common misconception, and I really don’t know where it comes from.
i honestly just think of night elves as the essential oils girl from college
“Druids= fantasy version of Tree hugging hippies” trope/joke. Although to be fair, Blizzard has played into this here and there made a couple of jokes along those lines too.
There are a couple vegetarian Night Elves in game so that might be where it comes from, but you’d think if someone payed attention to that, they’d also pay attention to all the meat eating Elves in game too.
But there’s a lot of weird headcannon floating around Night Elves in general.
Night Elves really suffered from a homogenization of their culture from WarCraft 3 to WoW. One of the very few things BfA got right was giving the Night Elves their “teeth” back.
It still didn’t give us Nelf Paladins with the Night Warrior thing like they easily could’ve.
It’s been shown, if not stated outright, that prolonged exposure to any of the prime powers of the Warcraft cosmos will have a physical and mental influence. Fel, Arcane, Light, Void, Life, Death are all “corrupting” but because some of these aspects are viewed as “positives” their corruption tends to be overlooked. But it’s still there.
I was goofing around in Classic awhile back and wound up in some RP on my night elf priest. Someone referred to her as “lady” and her response was a confused “I’m not a lady, I’m a night elf!”
It might even work for lesser planes! Overexposure to the elemental plane of fire makes you on fire! Word isn’t in yet as to whether exposure to the plane of earth makes you stoned, but the earthen ring is hopeful.
Water plane definitely makes you… moist.
BEHOLD! By my Soggy Power, I will vanquish my enemies!
Damp?
