How I turn my ton of lesser charms for elder charms now?
Are you at cap for them? If you’ve got the max (which looks to be 20?), then you’ll need to use those before you can turn in more. Or you can go down to trade them in for Warforged Seals.
I have none. Spent all.
Going to refill them and the Npc dont have any to trade.
No way to get them, save random drops now.
Seems they are used to get warforged seals.
@Kraztor
I see the same thing as well. For years Commander Lo Ping was the vendor we used to purchase the Elder Charms (using the Lesser Charms).
This was working just fine up until this patch. I would suggest reporting this as a bug in the Bug Report forum or through the in-game interface.
@Leilleath
Mogu Rune of Fate are purchased from the vendor on Isle of Thunder in exchange for 1000 Timeless Coins.
Same, seems like a bug, I submitted a report.
I noticed this too, I reported a bug. Hope that if enough people report it, they’ll fix it.
Then all feedback or bug reports need to go to the bug forums or the questing forums posting here will go nowhere.
Greetings and welcome to Customer Support, not to be confused with Customer Service. This forum is one for players to assist other players. What it isn’t, is a contact point for the staff. Ironically, due to it’s format, absolutely no staff comes to this particular forum, save for our SFAs - the only Blues you’ll see posting here. They are not Devs, GMs, QA or anything else, nor is it in their purview to relay along any posts that are made on this forum.
So, unfortunately, I believe your expectations of what this forum can accomplish are a bit misguided. Firstly, posting that “This is still a problem” does nothing. This is a Bug. Bugs are only resolved by Devs. There are NEVER ETAs on bugs, period. Bugs get fixed as soon as they can. That is on Blizzard’s timetable - not ours as players. It could take a few days, it could be weeks or months. Some bugs, unfortunately, have existed for years.
Secondly, Bug Reports are not taken through this forum. They are only accepted via the Bug Report forum or through the in-game bug report interface. So posting here, again, accomplishes nothing. We, as your fellow players can do nothing about this not working.
I would be remiss to mention that just because you didn’t get a Blue post in the Bug Report thread, doesn’t mean you’re being ignored or the issue is being ignored. Bug Reports are one-way communication. They almost never respond in that forum. But each and every issue is collected by the Devs and their CMs to work on. Triaged, mind you, so obviously more current content and more widespread issues take priority. But they still will work on resolving bugs as soon as they possibly can - ideally without breaking twenty other things.
My intent was unclear, and for that, I apologize. My target was not the dev’s, as I’m sure they are aware at this point (whether it’s fixed or not is up to them), but that, as a customer, when I view the forums, I use the “stale-ness” of a post to see if my issue is isolated or a problem as a whole. As the post was over a week old and another update had passed, I felt it was useful to update the most commented thread so others would know the same problem was still ongoing and nothing new had surfaced.
I am not “up” with the culture of this forum, so I deleted my post and shall move out. Again apologies for causing such time you spent on a lengthy reply based on a wrong assumption due to my choice of words. I felt it would be remiss in return not to acknowledge your efforts.
I find it massively amusing that the ticket I put in on this issue got an auto reply that sent me here suggesting that other players could probably help me to get this fixed.
Does anyone know if the the devs know they created an auto reply to do that?
Often the response is meant to be used to put in bug reports or suggestions, but sometimes others players, like myself, can provide information. It likely even mentioned sites like wowhead which I did in my initial response. It’s mainly used because it’s not something a GM can answer. The ending should mention reopening the ticket if more help is needed, but it likely won’t help in this case if it’s an intentional change or even a bug.
Moreso I believe it wasn’t so much to ask your fellow players as it was to create a post about it so the proper staff can be alerted to it.
Bug reports are not accepted via ticket, and bugs can only be addressed by the Dev team. Tickets only go to the GMs. GMs are completely hands-off of bugs. Devs, the only way you can report that sort of thing to them is by posting in the Bug Report forum or through the bug report interface in-game.
For some reason any time people get a templated response to make use of the forums, they assume they should be posting in Customer Support. Sure, sometimes we can help if there is a known workaround, but when it’s a bug like this, there really isn’t anything we can do. That is why it is mentioned above to post in the Bug Reports so that the proper staff can see it.
To be clear, the reply is from Customer Support, not the Game Developers. During periods of high volume, we try to refer folks common sources of information to seek answers for their issue.
As you noted though, folks on all three sites are reporting the same issue, which would generally be considered a bug. There isn’t anything that our Support staff can do in that situation, it should be reported in the Bug Report forums or through the in-game interface option found in the Support Menu.
If you found an existing thread in the Bug Report forums, I’d recommend adding to it. That allows our QA team to get a better sense of the folks impacted by it.
I was hopeful that I will find and answer to my problem here, but seeing that this post is over two months old without a fix is very dissapointing.
There is nothing that we players can do to fix this, I’m afraid. And the Blues that you see posting here are not Devs that fix these things.
Please either find a post on the Bug Reports forum or create a fresh one. Reports are collected from there, where due to this forum’s format - nothing is collected or relayed to the proper teams.
