Where are the settings that turn on Combo points to be displayed? They are not being displayed on my character’s nameplate.
I’m not by my computer, but check Options/Names, Options/Combat or Options/Interface - somewhere there 
Thanks for answering. I checked all of those and couldn’t find a setting to display my combo points. Hopefully, you will be able to locate the setting for me since you are the only one that has even responded to my problem.

Are you talking about the health bar that floats under your character? And are they showing on enemy nameplates? If so, you probably need to uncheck the “show special resources on target” option in the names tab.
No Josefine… I am talking about 6 small dash lines (points) that appear on top of the health bars. They are called combo points and do more damage the more points you have.

You sure don’t get much help from these Forums. Surely, there is someone out there that knows the answer. If not, then these settings are just too difficult for anyone to figure out.
Interface > Names > Unit Nameplates then check box Personal Resource Display.
On live it doesn’t seem to show combo points. On beta it does.
As an alternative, you can move your character’s unit frame to a position more to your liking.
Many players use addons to displays this information in a format that is more customized.
Thanks Tavlina for trying to help, but that did not fix my problem.
I’ve noticed a bug on my rogue where the red dots for combo points disappear. Some times they spontaneously reappear. “/console reloadui” sometimes works, and sometimes I have to completely exit WoW and the blizzard app and log back in. If none of that works, try disabling any addons you might have to see if any of them are interfering with your UI.

It is hard for me to believe that any rogue does not know what points (Pts.) are. They are generated by the spells you use. You get more damage the more points you have. Once you get 6 points you get the most damage. There is a setting that will display them on your nameplate above your health bar. Many rogues may not have ever seen them displayed, but it really helps to know when to hit your most damaging spell. They display on some of my rogues, but not on other rogues that I have.
Its on your UI settings i believe. You could always get an addon that makes em easier to see and movable.
I got tired of waiting for someone to help with these settings. So, I just installed an add-on that displays the Combo Points. My request can be cancelled…

blizzard default ui is usually not good. Go download an ui addon or get weakaura addon and copy one of the many combo point weakaura displays out there. There are many of them that comes with neat displays and animations.
