Combat Auction House Scammer

Well, they have altered the system a bit…

…in retail.

Still doesn’t show any malice. It’s common tactic to pull auctions you know that are not gonna make the reserve price. it’s more cost effective to eat the AH fees and relist.

Accidents happens and people can click on the wrong thing.

So you’re saying it’s fair that someone should pay 900g over what something is worth because of an accident?

it’s not fair, but people need to own up to their mistakes.

It’s funny because the practice of cancelling and relisting it in the exact same fashion does. You know it, I know it, we all know it. No one is ignorant of this, no one can argue an herb, an ore, an enchanting dust, cloth, or any primal is worth 900g. It’s far above market value and that is trackable by sites like The Undermine Journal or Booty Bay Gazette in Classic’s case. You are incapable of producing a coherent reason as to why someone would continuously (thus intentionally) post auctions in this manner other than they’re hoping to pick off a chump not paying attention.

And the best part is if you didn’t think the people doing this had malicious intentions you’d agree that no one would care if you let items sort by buyout because it wouldn’t impact anyone.

But you won’t admit that because you can’t.

I put you on ignore, because you are not interested in having a discussion. You want a fight. Goodnight Gracie.

I was told there would be a test at the end

But this is a double edged sword.

It’s sorting lowest price of a bid, but technically the buyout price is also the highest price.

So how can that be justified by hitting both marks?

How can it be the cheapest price if you have to wait 24 hours for the auction to finish that will be cancelled? It’s not only a waste of the buyer’s time, but inevitably they aren’t getting it for the cheapest price because they aren’t getting it at all.

Write down the persons name who listed the item and don’t bid on items that person lists. Easy. Fixed.

I don’t think this is the way at all.

So an elderly person who’s mental capability could have deteriorated should own up to a mistake of someone talking them into spending all their money? But it’s their mistake right?

um, taking advantage of someone because of diminished mental facilities is way different than misclicking a link in a video game because you are in a rush. Not cool… poor choice of analogy.

Unless you are claiming everyone in-game that has ever made a mistake is mentally deficient.

So you think that everyone that plays this game has 100% mental capability as well?

Now you are are looking for excuses.

No I’m not looking for excuses, I’m being inclusive.

It’s apparent you aren’t the one open for discussion.

No, you are looking for excuses…

I work with a lot of people with special needs, and most of them can accept when they made a mistake and own up to it. Claiming that they are incapable of doing that due to to “diminished mental facilities” is not being inclusive as you claim. It down right insulting that you think so little of them or their abilities.

But go ahead, knock them down to make yourself feel important, just shows what kind of person you are.

You can keep telling yourself that to feel better about your terrible comment.

I mean he quit responding to me after questioning why I was involved in a discussion if I didn’t have skin in the game. He shut down after I used his logic to point out how biased he must be given that he must be the one partaking in these kinds of shenanigans.

However I am going to point out that your logic is fundamentally flawed, the seller has no idea what the mental capacity is of the buyer and that isn’t on them to worry about. But it doesn’t matter, we all know the practice is predatory by nature, whether the buyer is feeble or inattentive isn’t really relevant.

Naw. Be more mindful of your auctions.
