We need a cold-blooded race…aside from the Forsaken. I think Tortollans should be the first choice, with the Sethrak as a second. We should be able to choose to play as either Horde or Alliance.

I want to say warm blood and high metabolism is required for sentience, but that’ll probably be proven wrong when AI Minds rise up to enslave us all.

joking aside - beast-folk are a staple of Azeroth as a fantasy setting, we haven’t seen any new ones since Pandaren unless you count allied races, in which case Highmountain and, as noted by the OP, none have been reptilian.
Tortollan would be a nice, bi-factional option with their love of lore offering a good excuse for the more restless individuals to go adventuring. I like it.
