You know what the A means in AI right? Your statement would still be correct if/when that happens. More accurately, sentience in carbon based life requires warm blood and a high metabolism. Nerve tissue is incredibly inefficient.

Anyway, I’d dig a Tortollan allied race for sure. Preferably neutral.
