Codex of Chromie is Slop

I did.

I dont like chromie, but the codex is all right.

Codex just is. It feels undercooked to me but I don’t feel any particular way about it. It’s just another thing to do. Now, if we start thinking about how Chromie likes to mess with timelines, and we’re fixing her mess, that interests me far more than what we actually do.

Chromie is like that guy everyone knows who personifies “Hold my beer”.

Blizz heard you talking bad about The Nokhud Offensive and the constant mounting/dismounting, so they’re forcing us to do it again.

Some streamer used it and now it is going to be the keyword for the next year or so.
Parroting is a real thing sadly. :parrot: :parrot: :parrot: :parrot: :parrot:

How do you guys know that players are parroting Bellular’s videos and not the other way around, and he just happens to agree?

I see plenty of videos from content creators where they react to community sentiment about one thing or another; sometimes they share the same opinion, sometimes they do not.

Is it really so difficult to believe that many players share the same opinion, and that that opinion is also held by a content creator?

Delves aren’t required gameplay. I actually kinda like the delves, but I solo a lot more these days due to time constraints of work and family.

Good (homemade) waffles are good.
That frozen garbage is for sure slop (like most prepared foods)

But only because the game is designed to waste your time with time sinks, so players naturally want to avoid them.

Blame the devs for adding all the time sink content into BfA and SL that players told them we did not want. They didn’t listen, and so now we have an entire playerbase that has the attitude, “The devs will try to waste my time; how is the best way I can avoid it and actually do the content I want?”

And the WoW analog of this would be watching the raid cinematic on YouTube.

You are essentially asking for a different type of game.

WoW players would be pissed if they got random items they had to figure out, because, as I said before, it would be seen as yet another way for the devs to waste their time and prevent them from doing the content they like.

Also, a multiplayer game in which players cannot put their heads together to figure out obscure puzzles is pretty much nigh on impossible, unless you can figure out a way to prevent players outside of the game from collaborating.

BTW, thanks for pointing this out; going to check it out.

They are if you cannot afford the hundreds of thousands of gold to gear up for Heroic dungeons once you hit 80. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Insult to injury are the store mounts, particularly the Brutosaur. These should be gifts, not FOMO IRL money sinks. Especially disgusted that they used the sad, nearly 20 year old graphics for the hippogryph bought with Timewarped Badges, while the anniversary one uses the modern model. Just gross all around.

Yes. Yes it is.

Then the implication here is players cannot form their own opinions and are just parroting someone else’s.

Which then begs the question: which content creator’s opinion are YOU parroting? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Eh, he’s a clickbait engagement farmer. He’s been that as long as I’ve been aware of his presence in general, and he constantly tries to compare WoW to his development of some nonexistent/obscure game.

I mean, the art and music have been great. The gameplay has been as well, and if weren’t for the recurring issues with bugs I’d probably rate this expansion higher than Legion with how it’s currently going.

That’s just my opinion, though. I don’t expect or want other people to blindly agree with me, or for them to refuse to look at negatives. The negatives do exist, and there are some ongoing issues.

If you’re needing to spend hundreds of thousands of gold to relevantly gear up enough for Heroic dungeons, you’re doing something HORRIBLY wrong.

And yet radiant echoes are still far worse and more pathetic.

It’s still hard to fathom that someone approved of radiant echoes and allowed them to be added to the game.

I mean, its not the height of game design, but at least it is over quick.

If the best thing about something is that it’s over quick, why even add it into the game? They could have made a vampire survivors mode or something actually cool or interesting

The people who used to design and create better features no longer work for Blizzard.
