what does this mean - how do you coordinate for a name reservation.
I don’t get your scared to accept reality comment either. I never played classic but after leveling up to lvl 12 or so on the last stress test servers I decided I don’t WANT to play classic either.
The players are overwhelmingly excited to play a 15 year old game with obsolete, arguably unfair, mechanics and utter lack of quality of life for the sake of fleeting nostalgia by the old time Veterans of which Classic caters to.
EVERYONE is flipping their wigs over the lack of flying in BFA and the extreme grind to unlock it.
Imagine their furor if 9.0 has absolutely no flying or Pathfinder and flight points being individually paid for and stopped at mandatorily “for the better”, you know.
Imagine having to buff each player individually and having to struggle against mana as a warlock, fire mage, ice mage, balance druid. Because Classic is apparently what’s good for the retail game. Right?
Classic will appeal to the players they lost, for sure.
If it will have any staying power for the current retail players invested in current content and quality of life has yet to be seen.
Coordinating with friends around the world with names, faction, and server we will be playing on.
I can’t wait for classic to come out either…
That way all the so called prophets of classic can go play their 15 year old, buggy mess of a game, and leave the rest of us alone.
The worst part is, is because it’s “Classic” they will refuse to recognize that literally what their doing in BFA is all they will be doing in “Classic” to the extreme.

The only ppl QQ about QoL or flying are the same ppl that did 15 years ago.
They can keep current WoW.
F nostalgia. I give no fly f about my memories. Most are bad. What I do in classic has value. This current game holds zero.
Classic is a side fling. You will come back to current wow for dinner.

I don’t understand why people actively want an inferior version of the game. with well over half the content ripped out of it.
Especially when it’s literally going nowhere, it’s just a classic server, it’s not being updated (as far as blizzard has announced) so anything you do on there’s just perpetually stuck there.
There is no additional intrigue, adventure, or stories… it’s done, it’s dead, there’s nothing else new.
I could see the vague nostaliga of seeing pre-cataclysm wow. Some people haven’t ever seen it, but overall? Nah. It’s got nothing.

That is why we have options.
For those who care about one version of the game over the other.
Choices are good and I support this but I do not support retail affecting Classic’s integrity and/or Classic affecting the QoL of retail.

If current WoW changes that because the ideology of blizzard changes.

Then go bother the people in Classic Forums, and wax on about how you think an inferior game is somehow better. I’m sure you’ll have a captivated audience there.
They had less than 10k people trying to log in on the stress test servers numerous times and there was a queue. Blizzard designs their systems so that there ARE queues for cost reasons.
Heck I might even reserve names myself and I don’t even want to play classic - I might want to play BC though and until they figure out how that will work better safe than sorry.
