Classic's success will forever change retail for the better

That part made me chuckle the most

I had to edit what I said To Cant blow through Levels

Tell it to WoWprogress, they track this stuff.

Almost as funny as someone who didn’t play classic.

I can also say they are 7 million. Neither of us is right because neither of us have ANYTHING to go off of.

Him and his overweight mongoloid friend can stay there.

I played vanilla, I dont need classic.

I get maybe 3 hours a week to play this game having a family now. I enjoy the smaller easier content and the amount I’m able to do in that time.

If they go to classic style it would be forming group for 2 hours and then have to leave run 3 bosses in. Not my style of fun.

Alright. You made the claim. Support it. Show me evidence.

Dude
why go back to classic when eventually most will comeback to modern or other mmorpgs with better features. The hype will die out soon for a lot only keeping a few as someone mention at least around 500k.

If majority of players are like OP, then I’m glad they’ll be leaving retail for classic. Couldn’t be happier.

7million what? WoD went down to 6million and it kept going downhill ever since. They have not recover because they wouldn’t be spamming all these 6 month subscription advertisement and mounts galore. The company is hurting and people are talking with their wallets. Want to know where the wallet went to?

ESO, FFXIV, GW2 and anything that’s on that level and more breathing room.

This one. Release week of shadowbringers had hour long queues. Now its no queue. FFXIV messed with their servers BEFORE the launch not after so it isn’t like the server load got better over night.

My first toon took a bit to level. By my third toon it took me about a month while doing it during my off time from progression raiding. I doubt a new vanilla toon would take most of us over a month especially with mods now available.

Prove it. Everyone is making these baseless claims. Prove that there are all these refugees and such. Prove that we have sub 2 million subs. Anecdotal evidence doesn’t cut it.

Mods won’t pay the cost of new spells, walking every where for the first 40 levels and 60m hearths.

It’s still gonna take a while to level

It’s mostly a mentality issue. Back in the day, I didn’t care how long it took. I just enjoyed every minute of the game. Now, I’ll grind and do what it takes to get to max level. Most people will probably hit 60 in ~ 10 days /played.

That’s funny, I find it very obnoxious especially in places like Silithus, and do those dang bores not have livers?

What game that came with an expansion never had long hour queues before. WoW been there and done that.

Sure. Remember when Blizzard was always proud to show off how many players they had? They don’t do that anymore after WoD. That was the first time in their history they had stopped bragging about their playerbase. How many mounts and 6 month advertisement you saw when Legion came? Probably not many or very few to at least one.

Blizzcon 2018 and what BFA had to offer is what took away a lot of subscribers. You need proof I suppose to to WoW population website they usually record everything that’s active. Then again for your own sake it’s best to stay blind to the source.

The knowledge of what to do, where to go, and how to maximize leveling is already there. I still remember the final path I ended up using all those years ago to maximize questing and drops.
