yea when layering drops in phase2 and everybody sees 10k trying to do… well anything… it’s gonna assplode
i truly wonder if asmon will become a banned phrase like links to gold sites were just because of the chat load

I suppose I’m fortunate in that it’s not only my opinion that holds any away on the matter, but hundreds of thousands of others as well as the development team themselves. This is the first time in seemingly forever that a WoW development team siding with the majority has had a positive outcome on the future of the game. I look forward to seeing if this level of support and trust continues throughout Classic’s lifespan and maybe even into the future of modern WoW expansions.
Well, in Vanilla it was less than you think. However, Blizzard added lfg channel to Classic right out of the gate so replacing bad players is going to be more frequent than teaching them or being social. We’ll have to see how it pans out. I’m hoping even with the lfg tool, the travel times to get across the map to a dungeon will encourage people to be more helpful than just drop kicking someone the way that it happens in retail.
All these whiny threads are from retail players trying to trash classic before it starts.
You’re not the majority though, and neither are we, the majority doesn’t post here, or anywhere, we don’t even know what they are limiting in the add-on, for all you know they could just stop auto grouping and talent inspecting and the rest of the functions remain
Everyone has played since 2004 and have cleared naxxx from what i can gather. I always make my own groups ill be kicking anyone who fails once we all know this content and we all cleared naxx after all
The beautiful part about random groups is the unexpected. Its a thrill sometimes to break the norms, to have to achieve and overcome when a player does not add up to par. But you can work with that player and maybe he will become great. If we do everything, all the time, just like we are on rails, expecting the same damn thing, its pretty boring. Let social dynamics work. Let chaos ensue. Learn, adapt, overcome, teach, and build friendships.
I’m enjoying watching the like count skyrocket as much as you are. Great job Classic team, you’re on FIRE!
i don’t think this will happen as frequently, as it would involve having to go back to a capital city, finding another member, and waiting for him to run all the way over there, this LFG addon however would’ve discouraged that from happening so i’m glad they got rid of it
Nah, lfg is global, no need to go back to the city, the channel, not the addon
Did you even play vanilla you kicked the bad player and found a new one everything takes so feking long you dint waste time with people who cant play.
Thats the vanilla i remeber
just read this forum…

When I say majority I mean the “Classic community”. The classic community are the ones who have fought for it since day 1 and got that petition going once Nost was shut down. The majority of those people would agree with banning the addon; id bet any amount of money
I’m for the change, never like the addon anyways so I’m happy they did something. Thanks Blizzard
To the #nochanges people, that is a change.
Yep. Kicking will be more frequent than in Vanilla but I’m hoping the travel time alone will make people reconsider even if the lfg chat allows for quicker replacements.
Idk what else is happening in this thread but I’m just happy Blizzard took a stance, single handedly reigniting my faith in them.
And still a very small portion of the overall classic community, everyone on this forum could unsub an not play classic and blizz wouldn’t even notice
I guess I was never that heartless. So I guess my story is not quite like yours.
this blue post gives me hope that new people will not like Classic hahaha, so they will end with low population of purist vanilla players
