Actually is sounds more you wanted to change classic into retail lite. CTA came out in 1.11 was barely used because no one knew what it was. And people like you act like it was something that had been around for a vast majority of classic. You keep clinging to this vague argument about there being something similar back then but always ignore the time line and the actual usage. Now that you’ve been told that it goes against the social aspects of this game which is what we’ve been saying the last couple of days you’re sulking. This is definitely a win for no changes and I thank blizzard for stepping up.

I am 100% positive said addons didn’t automatically invite you to the group without any communication

The majority doesn’t post on the forums at all. Nobody I know posts on the forums and none of them cared bout this addon. None of them would have felt like it ruined anything for them.

It’s likely they will limit SendAddonMessage to be like it was in 1.12. Only able to send to party/raid/guild/whisper. Not a global faction-wide channel TRP should be fine

yep. community mumble/vent servers for grouping existed back then. clearly any grouping without typing in the game client is a threat. break all the addons to achieve a non goal! (sarcasm)
there’s already like 16 different group meeting addon/apps/sites that exist outside the game and more coming. it’s a silly change

That would be great then since Suu could just convert his addon into a LFG channel parser/advertiser and it would work just perfectly for what people want it for.
Don’t worry, I didn’t roll on the same server as you probably did. Classic boomer? I’m guessing Herod or Herod 2.0 (Stalagg). But your character is on stormrage so maybe Pagle. Didn’t roll on any of those your queue can resume.
That what I didn’t understand. Vanilla was never a race to 60 (for most). That is more of a modern (retail) thought process.

Then I seriously think you should consider not using the internet. If people with different ideas or opinions have that kind of effect on you, you shouldn’t force yourself to engage on here.
Anyone that doesn’t play it religiously will fall behind and doesn’t have access to 6+ hours a day.

he gets a group of 4 people all 4 of them are dps…
ya this feature is in the retail LFG no one uses it for M+ which is similar to dungeons in classic…
the addon possibly has a way to stop after getting enough of one spec but it only knows your spec if you have the addon which 2 people in that group didn’t have
and even then it just invites the first 3 dps and the first healer and first tank does nothing to look at players level or gear or anything so good luck with that group…

I don’t think it’s dramatic at all. I’ll still play on BB but without TRP I feel like I’d might as well be on a plain PvE server.
Hopefully someone will make a petition thread soon to get Blizzard to save TRP without “fixing” the LFG addon. I don’t care if the LFG addon dies, just dont take my TRP with it.
