Ok HOW is it against the social dynamics? I have yet to see a single person actually mention this… also there was a comment that addons that change the way information is displayed are ok that is all this addon does…
also HOW are you breaking the addon? cause the little it does is very core to a number of other addons that people do want.

You already seem to be unable to view anything about your battle.net friends if they aren’t on your server/faction in Classic WoW. You can’t see where they are, what level they are, what they’re paying, etc. it’s basically converted to friends list essentially. A little annoying to be honest.

Just means they are going to change some of the API hooks. It will break this addon and prevent others from producing ones like it.

As I mentioned before, you can create groups with other people using the addon and auto-invite them without using the chat. People were spreading misinformation, including the addons author.

This is one of those moments that makes me so absolutely proud of the development team for this project. I’m so satisfied with this entire development process that it feels like old blizzard has come back to tell is it’s going to be okay. I’m seriously getting kind of emotional here, lol

The layering ship set sail a long time ago. Many of us aren’t okay with it, but it’s here to stay. Rather than railing against something people can’t change, they choose to object to things that they can change.
Screaming about layering at this point just serves no purpose.
