You’re right. LFG exists because almost nobody used the initial addons it replicates. It wasnt popular at all.

Please also considering removing Questie! If people absolutely must be hand-held through their leveling there’s no stopping them from looking it up, but reading quests and asking others for help and guidance is part of the game, so bypassing that with in-game tools should not be allowed.

A lot of people already use discord though and when they start being advertised as a way to find groups without reading LFG chat populated by 10k spamming players, then yes I worry they will.

Great thing about vanilla, you could be antisocial and still easily find a group in chat if you weren’t a ball sack. It was based on your realm name reputation among other players AS a player. Group finder destroys that.

So why did they leave it in the API for the past 8 months and currently? Classic is going to launch with it available. If they telegraphed it, why did they just decide less than an hour ago?

i like how social aspect is brought up but people wont give up their questing mods that tell them exactly where to go. i think if people want the social aspect they should have to participate in talking in chat to get people to help them figure things out. but people love their excuses haha. i don’t even care about the LFG mod it was garbage anyways i just didn’t want other addons being broken but good job and all that lol.
