Hey guys, along with changes to classic how about we just get a 3rd faction with mixed races so that Horde and Alliance balance isn’t as big of a deal? I don’t really have a good idea of tte meta but having gnome Tauren Nelf Troll kind of team or am straight up orc human team out of Tanaris to shuffle meta racials might be fun.
It isn’t really what classic + is about but my dream was to destroy the dark portal after Nax instead of going through and we can just continue the adventure of Azeroth.
We are playing Classic+.
On the darkest timeline.

I think the horde should only be orcs tuaren trolls and the race that never showed ogres. Then any other races that fit that theme.
Undead should of been it own faction. Seeing retail maldraxxus plenty of races that can be made.
Dwarfs gnomes and goblems should be a faction call them the little people of death.
Humans and elfs should of been a faction with all that arrogance and i am the ruler blah blah.
Night elfs should of been its own nature faction.
Plenty of ways to spice this up but two interns can only do so much.
In the BC never happens timeline, I’d like to see:
Tauren & NEs : Nature lovers united.
Orc and Troll : Horde remnants. Plus they share a city.
Dwarf and Gnome : Team Napoleon complex. Plus they share a city.
Humans : Own faction
Forsaken : Own faction
Population numbers would be somewhat balanced based on current estimates. Classes would have to be adjusted, and there’d need to be a like/dislike system in place between factions, for example orcs and trolls could team with forsaken as temporary dungeon allies but humans never would. That’d go out the window for BGs and world PVP tho.
Maybe a rep system where gaining the trust of one faction would reduce it with another. A forsaken who helps the orcs/troll faction would gain trust with them, but simultaneously lose it with the nature lovers (Orcs are strip mining resources from the NEs forests still) and humans (because humans).
Just some quick thoughts.
For classic + they could just add in the extra races via chain quests/attuned? That would be a kinda easy and kinda cool + addition.
Honestly all races being their own faction and stop being friends with each other kind of sounds like a lot of fun.
Imagine if undead was made neutral and you could pick the race then pick your faction
Imagine if undead was able to pick a race after going forsaken and we get undead Tauren and undead Trolls and undead Orcs and so on. Each with tweaked racials in some way.
Death Knights should’ve stayed their own faction. The quest where you have to go speak to the king and he just accepts you like “hi ok fine” is so disappointing. We need a third faction!
3rd faction feels like a retail dream but I really hope it is considered for Classic world moving forward.
I’d even be open to going all the way to WotLK and having a 3rd faction form after that includes the pandas after. It would give plenty of time for development and a Neutral faction that isn’t still having war would be good.
What I would really like to see is for Orgrimmar and Stormwind to have a peace where if you are Horde and Alliance you can go freely in between and 2 PVP factions to come into existence that sticks to the past and are unable to let go of the hate that are still at war. So the major city factions are seen as one faction and can fight and be attacked by the two new ones and the two war factions can fight with the other two.
