Mentions the removal of the Disenchant, but it’s being removed since you can trade items…something you couldn’t do in OG Wrath.
As for Dual Spec, only talks of restrictions. Probably like you can’t do it while not in a place where you get the ‘zzz’ next to your name.

At no point did they say they are going to remove dualspec. In fact they said that it is going to be in Wrath, just that they are “looking” into changes. Nothing set in stone and no idea what those changes might be. Seeing how in the past they have stated that they don’t like people changing specs mid raid, I would assume that they want to do something to fix that. Maybe you have to be a rested area, but who knows.
Where did you hear about this? Also such a minor change, wouldn’t really be a hill I will die fighting for. Bigger issues that need more attention.
They have never in the history of WoW shown where they get there information from when making big changes. Why would you except them to do it now?
Server issues are a completely community caused issue. Blizzard didn’t make people move to the mega servers. Blizzard also has no say on what server you pick to play on, or what faction you make. In a post they made about server issues, they don’t like merging servers because of people losing there in game name and guild name. Also this is how the server naturally played out with the community. If they “fixed” it now, it would just be a matter of time before we are right back to the same situation.
I don’t blame them one bit for removing TBC era servers. Classic era servers completely died outside of a handful of players. Does it such for those few players that want to play TBC? Sure. But is it worth them to keep the servers going? No. I also get the feeling with SOM that a TBC SOM might be in the works, but only time will tell.
This is more less an opinion. But if you are unhappy with the direction the game is going, why are you still subbed?
Sure, the micro transaction suck. But I have always felt this is more of an issue with modern gaming instead of just a Blizzard issue.
Disenchant button is being axed too? I can’t imagine what these monkeys must be thinking with these decisions. So we have to manually trade crap again when wrath already had it automatic.
Hey Blizzard, if you want to take something out, take out heirlooms, not the good things that wrath did.
Nothing about dual spec (only that they might add limitations) and the DE button was taken out because it was meant for LFD because you can’t trade items to someone on a different server.
I definitely haven’t been happy with the way things have played out over the last year and I won’t pretend to be happy or make excuses for anything. With that being said I’m not using this thread to talk about anything specific, I rant enough elsewhere.
From my perspective, Blizzard in the last year at least with TBCC has been about working on “pet projects” while ignoring greater issues. That’s pretty much it, and I do think they’ve been out of touch with the overall playerbase.
I was really close to not playing Wrath over it, but because my main guild is continuing and I still have friends in the game I’ll continue for now.
Kind of off-topic but I also watched that video and I agree with him that Classic specific players in 2019 and their wants are different than the Classic players who are still playing right now in 2022. People always say stuff like “people have changed in 15 years” but I actually agree more that the shift of the Classic players mindset has happened more within these 3 years, probably because a percentage of people who were just super into Vanilla quit and people who more wanted TBCC and now Wrath C are a slightly different audience.
Yeah, and? Are you telling me you’re opposed to a button you can press on random drop greens to automatically DE it and receive enchanting mats instead of having to switch to an alt to do it? What about blue/purple drops from bosses? You fine with taking extra time at the end of a run for the 1 guy that volunteered to DE everything then roll for shards?
The DE button was useful outside of max level content too.
Um, I was just explaining why it was removed I didn’t make any stance about it. I agree it’s uses even without LFD are the same.
Their reasoning for not adding it in was because since LFD isn’t in you’d need to ask if someone is an enchanter and ask to DE items. To boil it down, it’s because of these 2 words… “social interaction”
As to the disenchant yeah they mentioned this in the interview I want to see it was countdown to classic?
I don’t remember which one but there was a interview where they basically said they don’t like the idea of you being able to use someone else’s profession without actually having it and the layers then they put that in is because you couldn’t trade with people cross realm and since RFD isn’t going to be in there’s no reason how the disenchant in there as well.
Dual speck Yeah changes here’s my question what the heck could they change there is no change they could make to dual spec that would be beneficial to the player base there is no change that they could do nobody wants to go back to a major city.
Or to arrest area Or heaven forbid they put a cool down on it none of these things would be beneficial And as far as no are if deconcerns I don’t even want to go in to how bad that’s going to be.
And that’s before we talk about server balance The bottom line is this I think blizzard has an idea of what the player base actually wants and they think that the player base has stayed the same as in the #NoChangesPeople.
Are still here When the truth is that I would say is now the minority and the majority very much wants changes why because people are re remembering why these were put in the place in the 1st place.

I get where hes coming from No tbc realm It sucks But I also understand why because let’s be honest the classic realms are dead I mean heck SoM only has 7536 People And that’s game wide mind you.

I know about the 70 boost and I’ve seen the survey but still Either way Am I concerned about the future of classic wrath yes do I want RFD back in yes do I want them to touch dual spec no.
The thing is I think people are realizing there’s a lot more Is different types of people that play classic then people initially thought
I was able to find the video interview myself. Its a silly reason, but it is what it is with them removing it. Not that big of a deal, but a bit annoying.
No idea what the changes would be. Any changes I would be against, but if its just have to be in a rested area I can live with that. Their reasoning for even looking to change it is because they don’t like the idea of people switching specs mid raid. Saying that it hurts players that play hybrids. Which I guess is a possibility if your guild is always asking you to change specs between fights/pulls so you don’t get to play what you want. But I have always thought if you are in a guild that does that and you don’t like it, just find a new guild. But either way the comment on Dualspec was just a tweet saying it is going to be in the game but they might change. Will just have to see what they do.
Well again I’m talking about what he said in the interview He said yes with possible Changes we have to talk about that 1 but again in my opinion there’s nothing to talk about.
And here’s the thing right Nothing good can come of them changing dual speck yes I am aware that you can change in dungeons and rates which I think adds fun to it though.
I always thought it was really cool you can switch up your composition mid rate I think that’s a really finaspect It’s like Hey I get to Be a tank through part of the raid but on this fight I get to be A DPS that’s really fun to me.
I don’t know I just don’t think that there’s any change that they could make the dual spec that anybody would like I say just keep it as is the only thing I would ever want to hear they’re bringing it in at sunwell or lowering the gold cost
