This is pretty much how I feel. I just doubt Blizzard will keep them separate so that’s why I keep saying no to even TBC and Wrath.

i watch him, and a bunch of other wow content creators but can barely afford my sub and new expacs. so i dont donate.

Yeah the classic fans signed a petition for a certain employee to be fired. Wont post their name for terms of service reasons but i am pretty sure it was because of something like… you think you do but you don’t…

Just google it. I believe it had 200k signatures.

Oh, I thought you were referring to the petition years ago from Vanilla fans wanting Classic servers. Never heard of one asking for an employee to be fired. And I know who said “You think you do but you don’t.” So, no need to name names :slightly_smiling_face:

it would be separate from classic servers. in effect, it’d almost be like an expac but with vanilla mechanics and difficulty

The game is called WoW Classic. There’s nothing Classic about what you suggest. You want WoW 2. So ask Blizzard for that. I’d be on-board.

Almost every BFA owner has done M+ since there is not so much thing you do, same with Legion, I got all weapon challenges before big buff, I’ve been literally in all WoW life span, that means I could have a better idea than someone who only been able to see 1 part of the picture.

People thinks that the content should be brutal in order to be fun and… That is far from true, many content in the past even in classic were considered undoable until a patch fix… So that wasn’t exactly fun Method wiping 700 times until a fix isn’t exactly fun or challenging is just stupid and not intended by developers.
This game has evolved in many ways, some things better than others.

I think classic will be popular and successful, but it should never be able to beat out retail. However, retail being so horrifyingly terrible is why we have classic at all.

Almost a chicken and egg situation.

thats what i’m doing. hehe. it uses vanilla content and mechanics tho, so was just easier to call it, classic+ . wow2 is fine also. it also could have retail models by default and guild banks. maybe some character services, like server transfer. i am not rollin’ in the dough so i only used those services once - to transfer from the server i was on with son, to server with daughter, since son was already in high end guild at that point and i wasnt into that level of play.

anyway… a slightly kinder vanilla, with a few hrm, changes. did you know about farahlon?

The only people I trust less than Blizzard are the players. Particularly the influx of retail players coming over.

Except we can literally look at runescape that released an unedited classic that eventually died to retail vs. The new old school runescape with its modern poll system.

Its like blatantly ignoring already tested system simply to ignorance.

well this can be argued thusly:

the vanilla era wow (vanilla, tbc, wotlk) is popular enough that if they had all three rolling as separate games on different servers from each other, there’d be tons of content. they could even follow the path everquest took, where they have a retail with expacs and a progression server that goes thru so many expacs and wipes it and restarts.

Plus to vote in the poll they’re be prequistes and there be differences between classic classic and “classic-esque”

Maybe more than level 60… maybe also an onyxia and molten core completion.

Adding things like non vanilla races or xmogs that need 70% of the level 60s that completed molten core to add
