oh leveling slows waaaay down the higher you get. particularly after 30. by the time you’re in your 50s you start running out of quests, too. and preparation for raiding is a full time activity. just the prep, not even talking about filling the roles and doing the actual raid.
Of course they’re bored at 30, most of the content is for 60’s. And there’s no BG’s either.
50’s is also when you get into the ‘‘real’’ dungeons lol, up to that point you have wailing caverns taking an hour on average. maybe a full clear of SM taking 1.5 but at 50 you get into things ike BRD which are depending on your team a standard DND game in length and can take Hours
(speaking as someone who spent 4 hours clearing out BRD…why i don’t remember)
No, it does not.
The forum raised the same question after when people got to 10 in an hour.
“OH it slows way down after that”
Then 20.
“Oh it slow down now just you wait”
And now 30.
“OOOOHHH it gets WAY slower now.”
Dont kid yourself. if you compared 30 now then what you did before it’s a joke. I wish I could find the guild tracker like back inthe old days for characters. Might still be around. You were seeing people get 1-30 in weeks/months before. Myself included as hardcore as I was.
Not in less than a week and bored out of my mind.
This entire beta just proves how fast max level will be dead. And blizzard will be forced to introduce phases faster to keep up with demand or lose subs. And when they release it fast it’ll just be gobbled up and dead all over again until the next phase, until nothing at all. It wont even last 6 months.
I agree whole heartedly.
Keep all the classic servers.
Open up a single classic+ pvp server with the OSRS Esque poll system and watch it destroy modern wow
level 30 is when most say the people will quit because of how much grindier it is and how far apart quest objectives get. did you ever do the quest chain for the pally or lock elite mount? i did. that thing was flippin ridiculous lol ever do the missing diplomat quest chain? remember how many times you had to run back to darkshire to complete the quest chain that inevitably spawned stitches? what about getting ALL the pages for the green hills of stranglethorn?
heck you could spend an hour just trying to get boar livers.
I highly doubt Classic will ever overshadow Retail.
It’ll still be the better version of the game though.
Yep, for the first few months, then i’d say you’ll get a big back swing.
Do you promise?
I already bought a backup just in case yeah.
People said the same thing about old school runescape and it’s 3 times the population of runescape 3
(suggestion: if worse comes to worse, can have bakery bake an xbox 1 cake and eat it while filming yerself doing so, with explanation.)

I actually did find it. Warcraftrealms is still open! Yay to them for keeping it real! But I digress. Look at just ONE of my characters because it was the easiest as there were no special characters I had to think of. 1-60 = 6 month. MONTHS. I have no clue why it did record other stuff maybe I stayed with a guild the entire time. But this character I played more than any streamer can ever play nowadays. Back with redbull had heart attack inducing chemicals and I was living off of tostino pizza puffs. 6 MONTHS of play time to 6. And everyone is already half way there within LESS THAN a week.
Classic will not be your vanilla experience. by the time it took me to 60 then it will already be dead.
This isn’t Classic, This isn’t vanilla. It’s playing out to be a joke. And it’s becoming more of a joke the more you all keep lying to yourselves and the community about it being something god struck amazing like it was before. It wont be
the average player is gonna take their time. do every quest they find, goof around with 1v1 duels, queue for bgs, try to form dungeon parties. what you see on the streamers is huge groups of people moving as united fronts. everything is easier like that.
This is why BFA exists. It’s all yours. embrace it.
Wait you don’t think I was being literal do you?
It must be so frustrating knowing there are people who enjoy both.
I think you’re missing the idea that the design of the game was drastically different, and it is that design which is fun! The game pulls you in, has RPG mechanics, and feels good overall it seems. You feel rewarded for leveling and progressing through each zone and adding to your toolkit.
I know I do.
…Somehow.
of course not. but you could make it fun nonetheless. have your cake and eat it too. you’ll have classic and it’ll still be popular. hehe
i know i didnt quit just cause it was harder to do. i always had my eye on some item on a quartermaster or vendor or auction house or quest chain or dungeon reward. i recall working for a week to get just the right libram for my char’s hat.
