Nope. Didn’t misinterpret anything. Plenty of other expansions were worse at the end of an expansion and seems to me like plenty of people are doing Fated/Seasons still. Just because YOU might not be doesn’t mean plenty aren’t. Not only that, there isn’t that big of a drought in SLs.
Okay, so you’re just interested in arguing for the point of arguing when all I said was do better than the previous expansion which is what every expansion should try to do…be better than what came before but alright, you have fun then.
Retail is between expansions. Classic is just starting a new expansion.
You would expect Classic numbers to be better.
If there is one thing I think we can all agree on that classic has over retail, it’s the animation for shadow bolt.
Holy crap I forgot how amazing it used to look as I’m leveling a warlock during the pre-patch. The retail animators should be ashamed.

Female undead flipping to attack. I missed it so much, I rolled 2 of my melee alts undead ladies just for that animation.
Nothing is killing WoW but this community and Blizzards own inability to solve certain issues within the game.

I disagree completely. The people thay we’re playing with can’t stand retail and wont be going back. Not to sure why the people playing retail are so mad at players that are choosing to play where they have the most fun. You don’t see those classic players in the forums calling out the players that prefer retail. Play where you enjoy and don’t worry about what other people are doing!!!

You just can’t get into them because Blizzard in their infinite incompetence didn’t bother to scale valor for key level.

It absolutely will. Classic will be a ghost town. And I’m saying this as someone who prefers classic.
Lol no. People who play Classic dont care about retail. I wouldnt even be a sub if not for Classic.

Opposite for me. I did the starting zone for the mount and I got hooked. Actually, it’s the first time I played a DK didn’t realize how OP the class is.

As enjoyable as classic is the amount of misinformed conversations that occur surrounding the most basic ingame concepts astounds me every time I am apart of a chat channel in classic. Retail could learn a thing or two by actually speaking up a bit more here and there, but I feel the people have grown so accustomed to backlash that more often than not its fear holding back progressive conversation. You could have a billion monkeys typing however and they still wont reproduce shakespeare.
I’d be playing a different game if classic didn’t exist. I know I’m not the only one.
It’s not classic leeching players. It’s retail sucking.
Its the end of the Expansion, many players are playing other games myself included. Once DF prepatch comes along, retail will be back-a-boomin’.
