Classic WoW has exceeded all expectations

An opinion on the leveling, fine, but making claims about the longevity and success of the game as whole going forward? Yeah, right now, yours doesn’t mean a whole lot.

Saying the game is an unmitigated success while not even being the level at which you will spend most of your time is laughable. People who play this game for any length of time will spend more time at max level than not. Max level content and engagement with it will determine it’s success.

I’m from Chicago, I live abroad now because I’m retired at 30 and wanted to travel the world :slightly_smiling_face:

Are you stupid? Read it again, at the time of writing that post I had literally just started that discussion in trade chat. I didn’t ask it some time ago, I literally had just asked the question in trade chat. I can send you a dictionary if you like but since you’re here trying to defend a game you, yourself, are barely finding the time to play I would guess you won’t read it.

This was cute, it was a perfect topper to the big pile of nothing you attempted to convey

No one said that, the title reads ‘Classic WoW Exceeded all expectations’.

You’re ‘that guy’, through and through.

“STOP HAVING FUN!!!”

With your 3 supermodel wives, 7 ferrari’s, 8 mansions world wide and top 50th richest man eh? Ok.

Literally a troll.

Hey man, you got 3 supermodel wives, don’t come on to me like that.

I’m still betting there will be some real subs lost within the next few months but I have no plans of leaving unless diablo 4 comes out. For all those people screaming ridiculous nonsense they are simply trolls craving some attention. I’m loving the game and working on getting my alt to 60 as well. While leveling is quite the journey of misery I still find it somewhat fun. The end game is 10x better then retail for sure.

10-20 is easy and relatively quick. Usually its the late 30’s and mid to late 40’s that gets people.

I’ve got a 60 priest with prophecy, benediction, and an EPIC mount, do you tink I would have done those things and gotten that far if it wasn’t fun?

Are you the kind of person who gets mad at others for being successful? That’s pretty petty.

My wife isn’t a supermodel, though, but that is more than fine be me, she’s a pretty sweet gal.

I’m not too sure, but I think the guy who resorts to calling people liars and attacking them personally is usually, “That guy”.

I bet you think my priest doesn’t exist, either :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t find that at all.

Just what Ive seen over the years. If 10-20 is rough you may be soing something wrong. It can literally be pushed through in a matter of a play session or two.

I think you are ‘thenatural’ at something alright. It has to do with your horde race there.

I’m a dwarf priest

Not sure if there is any numbers out to support this but from my ancedotal evidence… BSB… you have people this weekend and last weekend spamming for group after group for RFC and WC… low level dungeons all day.
On my level 10 three box on the ally side… its so thick in low levels zones people are standing in line to kill Hogger out in the gnoll fields…

Ya… I do not see much of a slow down on my server at all.

I am not sure.

What I know is people flock where the new content is. Many regard Classic like as a new content… something different. So people flock to it.

I remember Beta Classic some weeks ago. It was a hype. But Blizz imposed level cap leaving us players nothing to do. Then they brought in 8.2 Mechagon and Nazjatar. It killed Beta Classic. People start flocking to new content in Mechagon and Nazjatar leaving Beta Classic. I saw Beta Classic’s Stormwind became Ghost town… an empty city.

Now, what will happen if Blizz release a new content? I know people would flock to it.

I just reached level 60 in Classic. I still have plenty of stuffs to do. But when I get them all which is very soon, I hope there’s more to do or I would get bored. Honestly, I have done Black Rock Depths 10 times now. The 10th time is when I bought an epic recipe from Thorium Brotherhood. That’s it. I dont want to do more BRD ever again. I counted I did 3x DM East, 2x Scholo, 2x Strat UD, 1x Strat Live, 1x DM N Tribute Run, 1x DM West, 2x LBRS, half of UBRS. What happens when I completed doing 10x runs on each? It’s on 1 difficulty not Mythic+. My guild now is on Sulfuron in MC on our first week of raiding and the week hasnt finished yet… we still have time to reach Ragnaros. What happens on the 3rd week? And the PvP BGs are still not open.

When I start running out of things I like to do, I think I am going back to Retail and continue my journey towards M+15 and Heroic/Mythic Raiding.

Tbh leveling the last levels is extremely easy with the abundance of options you have to do it.

I’m right there, crawling to 39. Thing is, because I seem to have successfully focused myself on the journey, and am on no one’s timetable but my own, I’ve actually enjoyed searching for quests and jumping from zone to zone. It’d be totally unacceptable in retail where leveling is like a dial tone, waited out for what you really want, but here it doesn’t matter. For the first time in a long time I feel like I’m in the world.

There’s a thing called “retail WOW”? And people like this thing and play it? For me, WOW died at the end of Vanilla. Sure BC and Wrath were OK, but it was the beginning of the end.

…I don’t know anything about it.

I might be interested in a WOW2 (in a couple years) depending on what they do with it.

I think that is why I hate the 10-25 bit because Westfall is taken out of the running because it is impossible to lvl there because too many ppl, so there is a bunch of trying to find quests in other areas. I do seem to have so many more options even now.

That’s because retail players think Vanilla is a hack and slack mindless loot pinata RNG single player game like retail. They’re wrong like always.

Vanilla is an actual MMORPG and that’s why people keep playing and playing without getting bored.
Retail on the other hand isn’t and that’s why people come in with each new expansion and see a flood of mass unsubs quickly afterwards seeing how garbage it is.

They should take the MMORPG label off of retail at this point as it is an insult to the OG devs who created legendary Vanilla and TBC.

I am happy to see the people that are going to leave go ahead and get out…

you rushed to 60…you rushed getting your dungeon gear… now your bored, and trying to get blizz to rush phases just to suit you…

good, go play fortnite, don’t let the cancel sub button give you carpo-tunnel on the way out…

A lot of players have hit 60 and stopped playing because they ARE bored though.
