They need to respond to this. Classic era is important. It doesnât have to be the most popular or even slightly popular. Keeping people fragmented will kill the game for tons of people.

Again, expanding what I said before.
Why âFreshâ people and Classic players still struggle to understand the formers will be inevitably transferred on Era realms after X months Naxx is over, while the latters are so stubbornly opposed to âfreshâ realms that, for the same reason, will bring in more player overtime?

I, ME, MYSELF, as Classic player, want fresh realms to be added (despite the fact I know 100% for sure I wonât play on them again for the N^th time).
Simply because itâs the most logic way to keep the game populated on the long run.
In particular, quoting something I wrote on the reddit version of this same thread:
Maybe Iâm too naive on this, but if (and when) theyâll make new fresh realms, they need to push the Global Crossrealm thing only for the old Classic Era ones, at least until the fresh ones catch up till the Naxx patch. Then they should allow them to transfer/copy here.
Otherwise people will just start again on the former ones and the actual situation will get far worse than now, even if they connect us all.
And this also applies to the âFreshâ side too since those realms will likely be already heavily populated at launch, and wonât need the Global Crossrealm as a further incentive to play on them. It would make things even worse because of the need to have multiple layers on with the population limit already capped.
Iâd be more interested in playing with my US friends on Era Realms than starting fresh again for the 9th time tbh, all of this despite of the ping/lag, like when was Nost back then.
stop talking about FRESH servers that wont happen people payed money to clone.
if they forced fresh servers on classic era thats a class action lawsuit or full refunds.
the only viable option is to combine all wow classic era servers who cares about pvp/pve we need an active community

I wouldnât go that far. I can see them just merging all classic era servers and then just create new âclassic freshâ servers as well. They want to keep people engaged and playing their games.

Weâre largely from non-RP servers. I donât know why, and perhaps not you, but why do majority of RP players always think we want them or their realms merged with ours? We donât.
We want our PVP and PVE realm-types respectively merged. We arenât asking for PVE players to be pushed onto PVP realms (that might even be counter-intuitive to the population).
We are asking all PVP East servers be merged, for example. Hell, we could probably condense clusters into single realms based on region i.e. one PVP East, one PVP West, etc. and if thatâs not enough, we could revisit the issue and consider cross-realm across regions (PVP East and West cross-realm).
The point is, weâre just asking for something to be done whereas NOTHING further has been done in MONTHS.

Iâm playing on a RP realm but I donât consider myself a âtrueâ RP player nonetheless, since I never ever did that before.
I âstartedâ experiencing it after I got on Zandalar since one of my friends already played here.
As a hunter I tamed my (future 60) green Raptor in the Wetlands and thought it would have been cool getting back to Tarren Mill by walking there with my lantern equipped.
All of this while having an epic metal playlist on the background cause, âwhy not?â.
I got a whisper from 2 random players and we started having a fun conversation about wow and expansions related nostalgia things.
Having said this, do you think Iâm worthy enough to be allowed to join your cluster, your âMajorityâ?
I see, this is at least a far more honest opinion.

Perhaps because of the sheer volume of posts crying for ALL pve, and ALL pvp realms to be merged. The posts saying to make it 1 pve and 1 pvp, period. Hell, some of them even openly declare that rp should be merged too, and some have the cheek to demand that even pvp and pve should be merged and/or that regions be disregarded. /shrug Letâs face it, most of the posts from those demanding more merges than have already been done really donât care about anyone elseâs desires for the game nor do they ever shy away from wanting to actively take away what others are enjoying on their current rp servers.
