Classic TBC will completely eliminate class population imbalances

You’re linking to old data. Like Classic, TBC was also played on PS, albeit played less because there wasn’t a good TBC emulator until recently. That means people already figured out what works and what doesn’t, just like Classic. In other words, just like people aren’t doing what they did back in Vanilla because now they know better, the same will happen come TBC.

If PS are any indication of what’s going to happen: Horde will get even more popular, GL getting into dungeons without CC (and I already see the replies by all the brainlets in here: “just run with your guild”, “you rolled Shadow because you wanted to”, “just heal/tank”, etc), guild hopping will be super prevalent.

That being said, I want to play TBC! It’s better than Classic in every aspect.

All tbc does is race change 70% of the horde to belf

I don’t know about completely, but it would help a lot. Unfortunately, classic TBC will completely eliminate world engagement with flying… change my mind :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously though, people need to get over this #nochanges crap already. Take the lessons learned over the last 15 years and use them to make the critical improvements needed to improve the game while not undermining its core essence.

You are right about ele but enh was definitely in demand in bc. It was the most sought after melee dps in t4 to t5 due to buffs. You only brought one for the melee group of course but it was definitely far ahead of ele. This is in raids ofc, in heroics you suffered the same issue as ele.

You need to read the context of why I linked the old data son.

I agree to an extent. Unless you’re apart of that really terrible team of suggesting tbc shouldn’t have flying.

Also, it didn’t remove world pvp at all so I’m not really quite sure how you guys are getting these ideas. 90% of the raids required you to run in not fly in and we’re massive pvp hubs like in classic.

Vanilla post bgs and tbc felt almost identical in terms of world pvp.

Id rather not GAF about you and move on

I never got to try the burning crusade I would love to get to play it. I pretty much love nearly every iteration of world of Warcraft. (Although I am not a big fan of battle for azeroth.)

man, you guys think population imbalance is bad now… just wait till belf paladins are reintroduced.

Elemental and restro was so fun in TBC.

Mages aren’t anywhere near as amazing as Warlocks in TBC. Warlocks are the undisputed king of everything PVE related. The best leveling class, the best dungeon class, the best raid class.

Mages were pretty poor raid DPS in TBC compared to Warlocks. Still great in dungeons though. In fact you can basically forget about running dungeons as DPS in TBC if you aren’t a mage or warlock.

You do enough to write a post, remove it, and then decide to comment on it again =D

I did the pre nerf heriocs in tbc with a rogue, hunter, spriest and paladin (me tanking on my warrior) as a preset group. After they nerfed everything it wasn’t fun anymore. For me the atmosphere of classic in genersl is better the only zone thst was amazing imo was hellfire

Tank Paradox still exists.

While 10-man content maintains 20% tank ratios. 25-Man does not. Tanks will still be left to the dust when it comes to raiding.

Blizzard never solved the Tank Paradox.

That’s not a paradox though. Less people want to tank. Less tanks are required.

In 5 or so years we’ll find out.

Lol 5? Look man, I love vanilla just as much as the next guy, and I know classic will still have it’s dedicated fans after that long but let’s be real for a second, blizzard is getting that money as soon as those subs start dropping (2 years max)

If blizzard is still around.

We already know who wins in TBC. Everyone will be playing rogues and hunters.

So let’s just write your avatar as ‘please ignore me’. Thanks!

I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a one button Affliction macro, which was the best DPS until later in TBC.
