Classic Servers Feel Dead

What’s really going on in Classic:

I am not experiencing what you are… I see plenty of people on all the servers I am on…
one of them is a transfer server

I literally waited in a queue today i dont

Something something, there’s troll in the dungeon gif, something something. :woman_facepalming:t4:

You’ve got to be kidding me. I am leveling an alt now that I have been 60 for about a week, there are more people in the level 20 zones than I encountered on the way up. The place is packed!

There are more people on 1 Classic server at a single point of time than multiple retail servers combined.

Retail is dead.
Get over it.

I was questing in Ferlas, a good go to area. There was like 8-10 people in my cave waiting for re-spawns for the same mobs. In ferlas man not suppose to be so many there.

U must be on a low pop server.

OP when you open up the Warcraft browser make sure you’re selecting classic and not just Warcraft from the drop down. I think that’s the real issue here.

on two different alliance servers, pve, and one horde server, also pve, all of them are busy. the cities are busy. the quest spots are busy. the ah is full. dungeon groups and questing groups forming constantly.

servers are atiesh, westfall and mankrik

Welcome to Sunday.

Well folks have realized classic is not the rosy past they remembered. When you can only do about six quests a night (that is about 3 hours) you feel like you are standing still.
Add in no summoning stones and wait time for folks to drag their butts to the dungeon eats into leveling time.
We have quite a few modern conveniences in wow retail that folks like that would not take away the classic fell but with such a vocal and aggressive #nochanges group things will remain stagnant on classic.
in short a lot of folks realized they just don’t want to waste that much time every day making little progress.

I can’t go anywhere without running into people. You playing on a low pop server or something?

I don’t know about your server, but Windseeker is bustling. I see people in the cities and out questing.

Not. At. All.

I play on DD and our population is perfect. Low during work/school hours to Medium during evenings and weekends. I love it.

I hope they die ASAP so they can get rid of these layers and I can play with a normal amount of people again

There’s people everywhere, and I’m in Desolace…

Cities are filled with people on my realm. There are at times, almost too
many people, out questing in the same zones I’m in.
I get to a area to kill X number of something, and there are so many
people there, there is nothing to kill.

Um I don’t know where you are but I don’t get that at all lol cities always have people running around in them screaming nonsense.

Not on my server. I still have to fight for tags in quest hubs.

I feel its up and down. Somedays it does seem pretty dead but then some days its pretty busy. I’m guessing people just forgot that most of us aren’t kids anymore and have jobs lol Personally i try to play during the more dead times. I get more done lol Classic will remain to be hype for quite a while though. However i do agree with those saying layering sucks. its not a feature im enjoying.
